Rommelehof

We made a return visit to stay with Markus at his family farm in Schwarzwald after our last visit a year ago. This time, we stayed for 7 nights. Our stay was absolutely brilliant. We stayed in a modern room within the old farmhouse building. It was spacious and spotless. Again, like last year, the meals were top class and great value for money. The bar prices are great and Markus is a great host. The amount of returning customers that he receives (ourselves included) is a testament to the welcome and service that guests receive from Markus and his parents. Absolutely brilliant stay. We had a fantastic 4 night stay at Rommelehof. Markus and his family were perfect hosts. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The meals were excellent. We really couldn't fault it. Our only complaint was that we did not stay long enough. This is a working farm and Markus and his family do everything but they were always available and were very helpful and friendly. Markus speaks good English and has a great sense of humour. There is a recently complerely refurbished bar and eating area which we used every night. Markus even makes his own schnapps. The meals were delicious and very reasonably priced. We stayed in the old farmhouse which was built in 1663. It was amazing. There is also a new build accommodation area which we saw and looks amazing if you want more modern settings. We loved the quirkiness of the original accommodation. I can't praise Makus or Rommelehof highly enough. Our stay here was simply wunderbar and we will definitely be back

Super bonne adresse ! La bâtisse est magnifique et très bien rénovée. Nous avions une chambre et salle de bain moderne, tout confort. La salle de restaurant est rénovée également, moderne et chaleureuse. L'accueil était très sympathique. Petit déjeuner avec des produits locaux. Une chose que j'ignorais c'est que l'on pouvait y dîner, et croyez-moi, c'est un super bon plan ! Au final rapport qualité prix imbattable et endroit charmant où nous nous sommes sentis vraiment bien.

Un vero “angolo di Paradiso” … per rilassarsi e godere l’autentica atmosfera della Foresta Nera. Markus è davvero molto disponibile … premuroso e attento … Colazione e cena con i prodotti della fattoria: il pane, le marmellate, i succhi della colazione e i distillati serviti a fine cena… sono prodotti dalla casa, ma non solo, anche la carne e le salsicce provengono da animali allevati a Rommelehof… la melata di abete è di un vicino produttore … insomma “nulla è lasciato al caso” e tutto è frutto di scelte accurate e ricercate! Grazie di cuore per aver reso la nostra vacanza indimenticabile! Ritorneremo!

Wir haben zwei Tage bei Familie Müllerleile auf dem Rommelehof verbracht. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt durch und durch genossen. Das Doppelzimmer sowie das Bad waren äußerst großzügig geschnitten und sehr geräumig. Das Frühstück in der „guten Stube“ war reichhaltig und wirklich sehr lecker. Ein besonderes Highlight für uns war die private Nutzung des Spa-Bereichs (Sauna und Whirlpool), der ebenfalls sehr modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet ist. Wir konnten hier sogar unsere Lieblingsmusik abspielen und so richtig abschalten. Wir werden den Rommelehof sicherlich noch häufiger besuchen.
