Recently renovated heritage hotel. Very clean and full of charm. The staff were attentive and welcoming, but sometimes fell a little short of what you would expect from this 5 star chain of hotels. For example, one day we returned after a full day exploring the city and our room had not been cleaned. One evening we ate in the restaurant and ordered two dishes, but only one arrived. One evening we went to 5 o’clock cocktails but there was no bartender in the bar. And the first morning we had breakfast we were told it was buffet only; I asked if there was any a menu and was told no, only to realize later that there was in fact a menu full of delicious options. This hotel has potential to be amazing but it needs to pay attention to the details.

Had a very nice experience dining to the sound of flute and fountain in their courtyard restaurant. Food quality and quantity is also good. Had a nice time celebrating my husband’s birthday, thanks to Ravi ji, Prabhjot and vaneeta amazing service.

Thank you Taj Usha Kiran Palace for making our vacation so amazing. Wonderful hospitality, Superb venue , charming ambience and a timeless vibe. Attribute it to enthusiastic and passionate staff members for making it so. Appreciate your support and willingness in making Jain meals specifically for us. We had a truly memorable stay ! Special mention of Ms. Tanika - GM Usha Kiran palace , A***shi our host who conducted the heritage tour so well. Ria, Sakshi and Lavisha from Reception, Mr.Rishabhji- ever helpful operational ***ger , Chef Ravi and Mr.Amit and Prakash from Silver Salon.

Fabulous property and excellent staff. A truly TAJ experience. Do try the local cuisine - have the staff to recommend some that may also be outside the menu. Take the palace tour in the evening and soak in the history and ambiance. A truly relaxing stay

Sometimes an hotel can make your day! This is the case for the Usha Kiran Palace. The room was beautiful. The gala dinner for the New Year’s Eve was perfectly arranged in the garden. My wife has also tried various treatments at the SPA, which was very satisfying. The breakfast was delicious with anything you may wish. Amit took care of us in a perfect way. All ***agement and staff were extremely kind and helpful. By itself a good reason to come to Gwalior!

Had a ***galsnan spa and it was seriously the best spa i ever had . Ambika was my therapist and she did a phenomenal job .The process starts with feet wash portraying atithi devo bhevo followed by a scrub and then a steam . Icing on the cake is the massage and after the massage ,the rose petal dip in the bathtub. Ambika you did a fab job.

We are a Canadian family visiting for the first time. The property is beautiful, service top notch, and the food divine. Get the breakfast and dinner option for sure. Sumit and Prakash and Prabjot were amazing in the dining room at breakfast ! Above and beyond team.
