Zen Chalets Hakuba

Amazing friendly service from staff and lovely chalet! We were picked up from train station and dropped off at supermarket to get supplies. Chalet was stocked with nibbles, cereal and a bottle of red wine to enjoy. Had a drying room for ski gear and washing machine/ dryer. Wish we had longer to enjoy! Can't wait to get back

We stayed in the Mitsu Chalet and it was perfect for our family getaway. The staff picked us up from the train station when we arrived and gave us a tour through Harpo-One on the way to the Chalet. They also did a complimentary trip to the grocery store on our first night so we could stock up for our stay. My husband got sick while we were away and the staff provided a care package of cold and flu medicine which was amazing. The chalet was amazing and the staff were even better. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Hakuba, and in Zen Chalets. Mick, Sarah, and the team couldn't have done more to help us and make our time as easy as possible for us. The location of the Chalets is perfect, near restaurants, and obviously the ski-fields too, and they are amazing Chalets as well. Definitely want to come back! Cheers Troy & Zoe

Plenty of wow factor in this stylish apartment. Fanatastic outlook from every window, it was dificult to talk ourselves into going out each morning! Loved the bathroom with loads of hot water and the second toilet made it easy to share among the four of us. Super comfortable beds and each one with a view of the snow covered forest. I was concerned that it would be too remote from the online views but it is really well located with an easy flatish walk to the happo Gondola. The staff respond really fast to every enquiry, and as this was our first Japan trip, we had loads! It took me ages to choose with all the options availabe, and I could not have chosen a better experience. Book direct for better pricing and a very generous 15% off for return visits or personal recomendations. One minor detail; the stairs are very steep, especially to the loft area, if you have small children, and limited eating options in walking distance means book ahead for dinner.

Fab accommodation for different sized families in our group, spacious, well equipped, comfy beds, super clean and very helpful and friendly staff. Shampoo and conditioner were amazing! Good location with staff lift to ski hire and supermarket. Short walk to local bars, restaurants and ski lift.

If there had been snow, the location would have been excellent. The lodging was cozy, spacious, and relaxing. We ended up spending a lot of time inside, since it was rainy, and we didn't get to ski as much as originally hoped. Unfortunately, Hakuba experienced early warm and rainy Spring weather, which derailed our skiing plans. We skied for one day in wet conditions at Happo One and, rather than ski another day, decided to go on a Snow Monkey tour, which was excellent.
