Very good nice clean excellent breakfast

What can you say? The hotel is in a beautiful location close to Afytos with lots of bars and restaurants in a tradition old town. The beautiful beach below the hotel, okay there’s a few steps, is well worth the effort, it has crystal clear blue waters and a friendly beach bar. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and the food in the restaurant is first class, however the highlight has to be the beautiful staff, particularly during our stay Maria and Chris in the bar and restaurant. Give it a go you won’t be disappointed.

This hotel is in situated on a quiet peaceful location , perched on a clifftop overlooking the the sea . The views are stunning especially from the pool , bar and dinning room . I’ve never stayed anywhere so tranquil and relaxing ! We chose Blue Bay as it was advertised as beachfront and only 660meters from the centre of Afitos village , which is very misleading as to get to the beach you have to walk down 170 steps , walking down is ok but getting back up was awful in the heat , and not worth the effort as the beach wasn’t good unlike others in the area . The walk into Afitos took a good 30 minutes , it was ok in daylight but after dark I would recommend getting a taxi back . Our room was comfortable ( a superior double ) , the balcony was huge with a lovely view of the sea, and surrounding countryside. There was a fridge and kettle , and much needed air con to keep us cool ! The electric supply to room was switched on by inserting card key into slot next to the door and it switched off again when card removed upon leaving room - Which meant the fridge went off when we left the room , reception arranged a special key to keep in room so fridge stayed on during our stay . We were bed and breakfast - the choice was fantastic and very tasty we really enjoyed a leisurely breakfast every morning and it’s great that it’s served until 11am The staff overall were friendly especially in the dinning room and bar areas , they made sure everyone had everything they needed to enjoy their holidays - We did find one of the reception staff not so helpful at times - we were made to feel we were a bother when we got an error on safety deposit box and couldn’t open it , also when wardrobe door broke and was hanging off and we couldn’t get to our clothes - We also arranged with reception the evening before leaving for someone to be available to carry our cases down the two flights of stairs ( as there’s no lifts ) which they said wouldn’t be a problem but when I rang reception next morning to say cases were ready to collect the same unhelpful person said there wasn’t anyone to do it , thankfully another kind guest helped us . Overall our holiday was enjoyable and relaxing !

The hotel is fantastic service grounds are excellent location it’s perfect 10 minute walk to downtown with all the bars restaurants nightlife is and the beach is phenomenal having dinner in the hotel outside overlooking the gorgeous blue waters it’s worth every penny of it that you pay for so if anyone would love to come to this hotel I suggest you come so anyone coming enjoy I hope you have a saying good time I had with my wife

The pictures are misleading, and they don’t show the room you get until you arrive there. We also for a suite, and they gave us a ground floor room in front of the common pool area, and with a bedroom window view to next doors balcony sitting area. We asked for another room and they didn’t have one of our category. So we were downgraded. We decided to leave the next day. They were not giving money back.horrible experience. It’s 3star hotel with a pool at its best. Breakfast was also limited.

Fabulous views of the bay. Swimming pools with sun loungers. Helpful staff. Excellent breakfasts. Comfortable room with large balcony.

Loved our Junior Suite with sea view with its two balconies,mini fridge,big comfy bed and amazing view over the pool,gardens and sea. There are two swimming pools that were very peaceful and comfortable with sunbeds with shades.So pleased that there was no loud music blasting out to spoil the ambiance.The on site bar was in a great position and we began with a couple of drinks each our first two days but for the cost the glass was filled with too much ice rather than the drink. Breakfast had a very good selection and the restaurant was very smart overlooking the bay. All the staff were so friendly and nice and do a really good job. The hotel is situated high above the beach/sea which is accessed by many steps.Walking into town takes around 15mins to the many restaurants and cafes there. We really enjoyed our two weeks at Blue Bay on a bed and breakfast basis which was a first for us as we don’t usually travel this time of year.

Das Hotel liegt in Aussichtslage auf den Klippen oberhalb des Strandes. Eine Treppe führt dorthin. Zum schönen Dorf Afitos mit diversen Restaurants ist es etwa 500 m. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und modern. Sehr komfortabel und sauber. Die Mitarbeiter nett und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war das beste was wir bisher in Griechenland hatten. Wir waren sehr zufrieden!
