Fourways Inn

Fourways is located on Middle Rd close to Warwick Academy and next to bus stops that go into town every 15 minutes M-F from 8AM-5:15pm (always a bit dicey if the bus is going to arrive ontime, most times it does, but if you have an important meeting, keep the taxi number on hand!). Wish we had a chance to use the ferry service as coming to work via boat is the best! Weekend bus service is spottier, especially Sundays but if you can get into town, then it's always possible to get a taxi back here. So location is not as good as being in town, but then you aren't paying in town prices either and you are getting a wonderful breakfast and lots of space and great views. The free breakfast was delightful - generous fresh fruit, real butter, toast or homemade pastries and GF can be accomodated, tea and coffee. Not all packages come with free breakfast you have to verify. You have a private covered veranda with which to enjoy the beautiful weather, flora and fauna. Spacious two rooms inside - one with TV and sofa and coffee/tea making area. Another with the large bed and closet. The bathroom had double sinks and robes! Shower/toilet was up to date and seemed heated to me but it could be the small space kept the heat well. A little updating with fabrics and pathways would go a long way in upgrading the property. Service was outstanding. After we had checked out and taken a taxi to town, we discovered one of our cellphones was missing. Mgmt immediately checked our room, found it, and brought it into town as they were coming in to check on their restaurant at the Phoenix Center. MANY MANY THANKS! It's not easy to get around Bda as a visitor so this simple act of kindness was very appreciated.

Simply Marvelous! Another fantastic visit to Bermuda! We have tremendously enjoyed Bermuda for many years and stayed at Fourways Inn many times! Always a superb experience! Fourways Inn is consistently remarkable! The cottage-type Suites are very clean, equipped with all you need for a very relaxing get away, beautiful views, breakfast in your room every morning, fresh baked pastries, a great way to start the day! We have always enjoyed and continue to cherish all our dinners at Fourways Restaurant, it is the very BEST on the Island! Food and Service is simply outstanding! Andy and Alex are exceptional. Their skillful attention to details is Superb in every way! It is astonishing! Once again Andy and Alex and the staff as well as the pianists, THANK YOU FOR A VERY MARVELOUS EXPERIENCE! Bermudians will always recommend Fourways for special occasions, but I hadn't been there for a few years for dinner. Last night, I was reminded of what a wonderful environment and superb service and food was to be had at Fourways. What an awesome night.Party of 5 loved the food and the ambience. HUGE selection of souffle's that are worth the trip alone. We had drinks in the 300 year old section in Peg Leg Bar, next to the 300 year old fireplace with logs crackling and comfy chairs. Fourways is a Special place and definitely for special occassions, but shouldn't be reserved only for those special occasions - go anytime! Fourways should be considered for any dinner - any time of year. Thanks to Andreas and Shantha for treating us like board members - and for a Great Night.

Stayed in the cottages on our trip to Bermuda. Lovely large rooms, everything in them that you need. Kept exceptionally clean by the lovely Heather. Amazing management by Alex and Andy. Now for the restaurant, can honestly say I don’t think you would find better food anywhere in the world. Portions are generous and oh so tasty. Atmosphere in restaurant is great with a great pianist playing. Can’t fault it if visiting Bermuda you must go.

Have used this place a couple of times both for special celebrations. On both occasions we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Whilst there is nothing stuffy about the place it is one of the few restaurants on the island that it is nice to dress up for, . Service is excellent from all the team. If you are a steak eater this is a great place to go, wonderful melt in the mouth full flavoured steaks. Vegetarian wellington was superb as was the shrimp tempura which were huge with the lightest possible tempura coating. Vast range of soufflés on offer, the one we shared was really good. Fairly extensive wine list with options and prices to suit all tastes. Service charge automatically applied at 20% which I guess reflects the US influence.

We had the Fourways recommended to us by a friend and we were not disappointed. We went for the Prosecco brunch on a Sunday and it was amazing. As we were led into the dining room, I let out an audible gasp at the range, volume and appearance of the food on offer. They had everything: meats, cheeses, an omelette bar, salads, sushi, seafood, full roast dinner, Filipino dishes and an entire pudding table with flambé bananas being made in front of you. Words cannot do justice to the cornucopia that this lunch represents. On an island where food is notoriously expensive, this was surprisingly good value and the quality was excellent. You should definitely go here!
