We couldnt have asked for a more welcoming stay. We had been caught in a 10 hour traffic jam on our way home. We arrived with our 2 dogs; tired, hungry and very much in need of a shower and bed. The staff could not have been more helpful. They made us up sandwiches, salad and crisps on arrival as the kitchen was closed. The breakfast was one of the best we have had with all local produce. We can not thank the staff enough for their hospitality. Genuine human kindness!!!
The pub was very quaint.
The bedroom was very tired but fully functional for the cost.
The location is lovely on a beautiful village green.

We had a meal for 16 for a birthday celabration. Could not fault it from start to finish! We had a lovely welcome, were quickly shown to our table in the conservatory and the drinks order taken. All of the staff were professional, friendly and on the ball. All of the family were impressed that we hadn't needed to pre-order for the party. There was plenty of choice, including accommodation of allergies, and excellent quality of food. The birthday dessert was a lovely surprise :-) Huge thanks for making it such a memorable evening for all of us.

Have stayed at Swan Inn before and is always good serviceThe room is nice but very dull lighting in fact one bedside light not working but they had no replacement in stock. Restaurant excellent!

Absolutely fabulous food and beautiful setting. Loved the mains and desserts are amazing. Hats off to the pastry chef, the chocolate fondant is to die for.I would highly recommend visiting, will definitely be back.

Staff and cleanliness was good however, there was a generator vibration through the room until 10.30pm which didn’t allow for an early nights sleep. When I telephoned reception Staff offered to change my room but I had unpacked and was in bed. The room also smelt of cooking. Surely they can soundproof the room. Thank you

Great 2 night stay. Very attentive staff. Breakfasts were superb and the evening meal was great and very reasonably priced. Great selection of beer and wine.

We were allocated Gooseberry room, which whilst bigger, suffered from a constant low level humming noise all night. This was in addition to kitchen noise mentioned, which fell silent at around 10pm. At 2am the fire alarm went off, which we were later told was a fault in the process of being fixed.

Great restaurant, bar and room. Only let down was a bathroom which needed updating and a shower which had no pressure.
