Great location in old quarter to discover Hanoi by walk.

The room was very crowded for 4 people. It was old and not in good repair. The safe didn’t work. But the worst part was the smell, linen and room smelt like damp. We stayed one night only. Were meant to stay again after our trip to Halong bay but we cancelled The staff were very lovely

This was our first stop on two weeks in Vietnam. The staff went out of there way to make us feel comfortable and we’re helpful in all ways. Transport from Airport and to Sapa was organised by Ms Mài and was absolutely amazing!! Rooms are clean and roomy. We were in family rooms with balconies. The location is tops. Close to all the action! Breakfast was great if you don’t want to go out!! Thanks for showing us the Vietnamese hospitality from day one!!!!

This hotel is excellent value for money, and I cannot praise the staff enough! Everyone friendly and went the extra mile to help me when I left my bag in the taxi (with all my valuables)! Safely returned within the hour. Hotel is ideally located in the centre of Hà Nội and everything was within walking distance. Mia who deals with all the travel stuff, a lovely warm friendly lady who speaks excellent English. If you need any trips or tourist information Mia can help with this. Mia recommended the Hà Nội Hilton (Prison) - this was well worth a visit 😊 Kan one of the receptionists, again lovely lady, friendly and helpful. Brian who works the afternoon reception - amazing, always smiling and again so helpful and kind. THANKS TO EVERYONE at the AMORITA, we have had an amazing stay in Hà Nội and also a special thank you for helping with our daughter Jess - who will be staying on her return from the Ha Giang Loop!

We only stayed for one night unfortunately. It is a lovely small hotel in the old quarter near the lake. We had the family room - 1 double, 2 singles - which was perfect. Perfect location to be amongst the action but not too loud you can't sleep. Great that breakfast can be included too. Ms Mai and the team are super helpful with anything you need. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel has a fantastic location. Everything is walkable from here. The rooms are really cute and the breakfast is delicious. But the best part by far is the staff. They are so welcoming, helpful, and always smiling. They made us feel so welcome here and we will stay here again if and when we come back to Hanoi!

We booked last minute and we were so lucky. We were greeted by Brian. So charming and kind. We were given a fabulous room. It was very large with a balcony. After checking out they looked after our luggage and when we returned we were able to shower before we set off on the night train. The hotel is in an excellent location. Thank you Brian.

The whole stay was completely terrible. First of all, there were problems with the shower (the door just simply wasn't closing), so it was almost impossible to take a proper shower. Then whole bathroom smelled like a sewage dump. I got sick after using it. And he staff had a room on the floor we were staying, so we were woken up by them at 6. They obviously didn't care at all about the customers. Ahh there was also a window in the room which was going to the stairs and the light wasn't possible to block!!!! I woke up like a zombie (considering the fact that I already felt nauseous and had headache cause of the problems mentioned above and had to take medicine) after having almost a sleepless night. It was our last day and night in Hanoi and it had a huge impact on my mood and overal well-being. Furthermore there were bags with laundry or something else blocking the staircase which was actually against any fire safety policy. When we mentioned all these issues the staff only cared about good or bad review, they even wanted me not to write any review in exchange for the taxi. It's completely unacceptable and unprofessional and felt aso like a bargain and disrespectful. In order of trying to solve the problem, you just buy the review...Of course refused. I honestly hope that his review will hel other travellers.

I stayed 2 nights. The location is superb, right on the edge of the Old Quarter as well as Hoan Kiem lake. In terms of the room I had, it was very clean and comfortable. However, it was very small and only had a tiny window. However, for a solo traveller on a budget it represents good value for money. There was a problem with the hot water the first night in the shower, that’s why I took one star off. However, it worked fine the rest of the time so perhaps I just didn’t operate the shower correctly. They personally showed me how to operate it when I asked. The breakfast buffet was average, but the chef was very accommodating and made omelettes and pancakes. A special mention to Mai and the other staff at the front desk. Extremely kind and helpful.
