On the 10th of October 2023, we checked into the hotel and checked out on the 13th of October 2023. Our reservations were made through *********** (Which we had to cancel as instructed by the hotel staff) for one deluxe room and one balcony room. Unfortunately, our three-night stay at this establishment was perhaps the only disappointing experience during our entire trip to Vietnam, as each night presented new issues. Firstly, don't believe in the pictures you see and keep your hopes high. While the rooms are decent, the photos available on the booking websites appear to be taken with wide-angle lenses, which may set unrealistic expectations. Prior to our check-in, we maintained ongoing communication with one of the staff members, Kevin. However, he failed to convey the information that one of the reserved rooms would not be available on our first day of the stay. It was only during the check-in process that we were informed of this situation. Initially, he proposed that we stay in a nearby hotel of their arrangement for the first night instead of the deluxe room that we had initially booked. He assured us that for the subsequent two nights, we would be upgraded to the balcony room. Regrettably, the room in the adjacent hotel was below standard, I have attached a photo for reference. The air conditioning unit lacked a cover and emitted a constant, loud noise. When we reported this issue, the response we received was that the cooling function was adequate, so the noise was deemed acceptable. Upon returning to Labevie Hotel the following day, we were given a deluxe room, not the promised upgrade to the balcony room which we had to accept. However, at midnight, the air conditioning unit in this room also malfunctioned. We informed the reception, but due to language barriers, it was challenging to convey the issue effectively. A staff member attempted to repair the air conditioning unit, which subsequently malfunctioned once more after his departure. Later on, a fan was provided for the remainder of the night. The hotel next morning offered a refund or a discount in acknowledgment of these mishaps. The final day of our stay proved to be disastrous. The offered refund or discount was completely declined. Instead, they proposed to provide us with an airport drop-off service. Upon check-out, we instructed the hotel staff to bring our luggage from our room and keep it at the reception as our flight was scheduled for late at night as we would be outside at that time. As we returned to the hotel prior to our flight, we discovered that one of our backpacks, containing a work laptop, was missing. When we reported this, the hotel staff denied the existence of the backpack and were uncooperative in allowing us to review the entire CCTV footage. They treated us as if we were lying and even requested us to open our other luggage on suspicion of hiding the laptop or backpack.
