Travelodge Harrogate West Park

The room was nice and spacious, it was clean and comfortable. The room was heated to a good temperature when I arrived. All staff, reception, bar and waitress were all helpful and smiley.

Very friendly and welcoming, We stayed for breakfast and it was lovely no problems what so ever, we would stay there again lovely staff. Room nice and clean it was really hot this weekend and they had a fan going in the room when we checked in.

My name is Brian, I stayed at Travelodge Harrogate West Park with my disabled partner on the 17th and 18th of May. After an excellent meal, went to a comfy bed. Next morning after breakfast, the car refused to start. I asked Laura the supervisor that day if she could help me out. She tried every garage in Harrogate to see if anybody would come out to help me. Every garage was overloaded with work and couldn’t spare the time to come out. Panic. 120 miles from home with a disabled partner and no help. Laura, as a last resort phoned a family friend who tinkers with cars. He came out and got the car started. Laura stayed behind even after her shift had finished to see that we made it away okay. Laura was a wonderful lady and a credit to Travelodge.

Horrific experience, rude and confrontational staff, hotel made an error but were made to feel it was our fault, caused an anxiety attack . The last thing we needed after 7 hour drive. Did not stay went elsewhere and had stay refunded. Will not be using Travelodge chain again.

Comfortable, quiet room for a couple of nights. Handy for the station and everywhere else we wanted to go. Checkout at 12 noon as standard appreciated.

2 night stay, very reasonable price. Plenty of parking and not too expensive. Staff helpfull and friendly. Room if a little snug was clean functional and had all you could need. The breakfast was excellent value and really nice with a good choice impossible to come away hungry.

We were staying overnight in Harrogate and chose the Travelodge based solely on location and cost. Easily accessible with overnight parking adjacent check in was very quick and simple. The room was basic, small but functional. The bathroom facility had a great shower but was also very small. Out main concerns were the lack of soundproofing between floors which sounded like a sumo wrestler practising in the room above and the bathroom extractor which continued throughout our visit with no means to switch it off. In the room there was no plastic cups and no hairdryer although they were available at reception this would be no consultation if you only discovered this after washing your hair. You should be asked if you require these facilities on checking in. Breakfast was reasonably priced because it was unlimited but quality was lacking. Previously we have stayed in Premier Inns around the country and feel they a similarly priced but are better equipped and better value for money.

The hotel is conveniently located with several restaurants nearby. It is ideal for an overnight stay but I might look elsewhere if staying longer in Harrogate.

A good night's sleep as the rooms are well insulated. I could park for free for 24/7 the other side of the green known as "Stray". The Travelodge is just off West Park, which faces the "Stray".
