To be honest, I've never stayed at a Quality Inn. I had to be in Hartwell for a meeting and this was the closest hotel to where I was going. I wish I could remember the name of the receptionist that greeted me. You would have thought I was walking into the Ritz Colton. She was welcoming, friendly and incredibly helpful. Before I went up to the room, she asked me if I wanted to grab a cup of coffee. The room was pretty basic but very clean. The shower was awesome. I love the shower head and how hot the water got. Breakfast was pretty simple but enough. Make your own waffle, cereal, packaged oa**eal, apples, apple and orange juices. Three women past my table as I ate breakfast. I can honestly say that I have never met a friendlier staff in all of my business travel, which I do quite a bit of. I had a lovely conversation with each of them. I went up to get my bag to leave but wanted to find the housekeeper that was going to clean my room so I could give her a tip. It turned out to be one of the ladies I spoke to earlier during breakfast. We were about the same age and she offered to help me downstairs with my stuff. I politely declined but really appreciated her kindness. I asked for a call from the general manager so I could let him know what a wonderful staff he has. Most people take time to complain but few take a moment to say thank you for a great staff. I look forward to hearing from him.
