We are just 150 meters from the Malecon ( the sea ) , 5 minuts walking to old Havana and just 20 minutes walking distance from Vedado.

We are a small building with only 3 floors, very elegant and clean. Our apartment of accommodations consists of a living room and dining room where you can feel relaxed and where we offer to you all the freedom you would want while you stay here.

We rent two rooms with prive bathroom ; One of them being a double bed and a single bed and the other with double bed. In your room you will find a warm and hospitable ambience. Relax on our beautiful balcony and take in some sun. The bath has cold and warm water 24 hours of the day.

Εξαιρετικά όμορφο, ασφαλές και ζεστό μέρος. Οι ιδιοκτήτες ήταν τόσο ευγενικοί και υπέροχοι, πολύ εξυπηρετικοί με την ανταλλαγή χρημάτων και τις συμβουλές. Επίσης βρίσκεται σε ιδανική τοποθεσία, κοντά στην παλιά Αβάνα, το malecon κλπ. Το δωμάτιο καθαριζόταν καθημερινά. Δεν μπορώ να συστήσω αυτό το μέρος αρκετά!

Με πίεσαν να αλλάξω χρήματα αμέσως, παρόλο που έφτασα αργά το βράδυ και ήμουν εξαντλημένος. Αργότερα ανακάλυψα, αφού μου έκαναν διάλεξη για το ότι δεν εμπιστεύομαι τους άλλους, ότι η συναλλαγματική ισοτιμία που δόθηκε ήταν κακή (250/1 δολάριο αντί για 280). Αργότερα ανακάλυψα ότι πολλές σημειώσεις στα πακέτα των «1000» που δόθηκαν ήταν σύντομες - κάποιες περιείχαν μόνο 600. Οπότε ήμουν πολύ σύντομη αλλαγμένη. Το πρωινό ήταν επίσης γέλιο - την πρώτη μέρα, ήταν ελαφρύ - μια λεπτή ομελέτα, μερικά μικροσκοπικά κομμάτια φρυγανισμένο ψωμί και μερικά φρούτα. Έπρεπε να αγοράσω ένα δεύτερο πρωινό στην πόλη για να με προετοιμάσω για μια μέρα εξερεύνησης, αναιρώντας το νόημα να το κάνω στον ξενώνα σας για ευκολία. Τη δεύτερη μέρα δεν υπήρχε ψωμί. Στο τρίτο, χωρίς αυγό, μόνο ένα ρολό με μια λεπτή λεκέ από κάτι που έβγαζε γεύση. Πήρα μια ίντσα καφέ (στη φωτογραφία). Δεν είπα τίποτα επειδή ήξερα ότι η Κούβα αντιμετώπιζε έλλειψη τροφίμων, οπότε το απέδωσα σε αυτό, αν και πίστευα ότι το κόστος που χρεώθηκε ήταν πολύ διογκωμένο για το κόστος των τροφίμων σε τοπικό επίπεδο. Ωστόσο, από τότε έχω ανακαλύψει πόσο γενναιόδωρο είναι το πρωινό σε άλλα μέρη που έχω μείνει - πολλά αυγά, ψωμί, τυρί και φρούτα, καφές και χυμούς, ακόμα και τηγανίτες - με το ίδιο κόστος - οπότε συνειδητοποιώ ότι αυτό ήταν πραγματικά τσιγκούνικο, ειδικά επειδή θα μπορούσε να αγοράσει όλα αυτά τα πράγματα πιο εύκολα στην Αβάνα από άλλα μέρη. I am a woman solo traveler. Rosemary’s reception and tips were gold! She gave me essencial tips in terms of money, safety, and must-do activities which were paramount!! It’s clean, safe, pleasent, 5-10min walk tô Havana vieja. I Recommend it! As It was my first day stay, It was really helpful to get the rest of the trip better planned. It is also where I spent my last day in Cuba. Rosemary encouraged me to visit Cuban Art Factory before I left and It was an Excellent tip. I loved It! Centro Havana May seem scary at a first glance for a Brazilian woman like me, but It is totally safe. Enjoy It! Thanks a lot Rosemary! See you soon!

Lunass is an amazing hostel!! It is very well decorated and excellently cleaned and serviced every day. The staff are helpful and friendly. The owner/manager is available and caring. They are all generous with information on how to travel in Havana and Cuba. And will do almost anything to make sure your plans work out. I stayed there for a month while I explored Havana and it was like going home at the end of each day. I love this place and would highly recommend it. Hopefully, I will get the chance to go back sometime!!

Description described by Casa Lunass is spot on! Good sized room with an on suite, you need the mini bar it was great to have that in your room and spacious communal area and balcony was great for chilling and listening to the people down below or across from you. The host Yamilee is a wealth of knowledge and so helpful, take in everything that she says as you'll need it. By the way if you weren't fit before you'll get fit staying at Casa Lunass. Thank you again Yamilee and Rosemary for having us.

We actually stayed at Casa Lunass right before the beginning of Covid, so this review comes a bit late - but it's hopefully still helpful for travellers who are looking for a fantastic place to stay in Havana. The apartment is on the upper floors of the building, so you can catch a nice view of the area from the balcony. We had breakfast there every day, which was also excellent. The location is perfect to explore Havana on foot, you can walk to the Old Town in minutes or just explore the neighborhood. Our host Kenia was absolutely lovely and we're forever grateful for all her help, be it with advice during our planned stay in Havana or support with booking casas particulares in our next destinations - and especially when we had to rearrange our travel plans a bit due to the exceptional circumstances. We hope to come back to Cuba very soon and will definitely stay at Casa Lunass again!

I stayed in the balcony room for two weeks in January and it became my home in Havana. The hosts are wonderful people who really made me feel like a part of the house. It's perfectly located near both the ocean and downtown which allowed me to go on short walks exploring the city and come back in time for a lovely dinner. The room is spacious and clean, the food and service wonderful, and Kenia has been the most helpful and kind host as well as friend. Havana is a very, very special place made even more amazing by my stay at Casa Lunass. I will miss it dearly and definitely hope to come back again!

This is a very nice Casa Particular. I stayed there multiple times during my two months stay in Cuba. It’s become my home in Havana. The owners are really nice people, very helpful and friendly. The rooms are great, spacious, clean and with a nice balcony to do some people watching from. All in all, a very nice experience!
