i visited ho chi minh saigon for 4 days business trip , but i only booked 1 night because i didnt know if this hotel was suitable , when i checked into the hotel and went back to my room to rest , the room was very clean and there coffee and tea for me enjoy in the room . after staying for 1 night , i was really staisfied . the hotel breakfast also had a lot of choies , i later stayed in 2 more night again . after checking out on the third day i took the grad car to the airport , when i arrived at the airport checkin my luggage , I realized my laptop was left in the hotel lobby，i quickly called the hotel，fortunately the hotel staff helped me put it away , and then i returned to the hotel to pick up back to my laptop . fortunately i chose a hotel not far from the airport , i successfully returned to airport to board my flight country. I would like to thank a lot of the hotel staff for its service. If I come to Ho Chi Minh City for business next time, I will still choose this saigon eastin grand hotel again..

Unexpected gem to find this hotel. We originally booked because it was hard to find a hotel around the New Year holiday, but I'm very pleased to have stayed at the hotel. Loved the room we had, the executive room with a nice walk-in closet and a separate living room. Sauna and steam room, which came in handy. 3 jacuzzis on the rooftop along with the pool. The breakfast in the morning was good. Plenty of options and the pho ga, was very good! Friendly staff and great views from my room of downtown. Executive lounge had nice options for the evening canapes. The only drawback and it's not the hotel's fault, but the hallway in our room smelled of ****. Lots of people smoking in their rooms which is not the hotels fault, but a bit of a turn-off since I don't smoke. Other than that, we would definitely stay again. Worth coming back!

It’s definitely one of the most wonderful and thoughtful hotels I have ever stayed in. The hotel staff are super nice, always smiling and helpful all the time. Since it is my tenth anniversary with my hubby, they’ve decorated our room with rose petals and offered us special treats. Everything is so new and spotness and they clean the room everyday. There are a great variety of choices for breakfast and taste so good!! A lot of sightseeing spots are just 10-ish minutes walk from the hotel, so convenient for tourists. To be honest, thanks to Mai House and its friendly staff, my wedding anniversary trip is sooooo perfect!!! Highly recommended and surely will come again.

Service was amazing they’ll do anything to help, rooms were nice perfect feel for an island like this. The beach was clean and nice. The only thing I would say is that breakfast was ok, not bad nor great, the quality of the food was very good (especially the croissant!) but I just think it was a bit boring, and not a big selection, especially with the hot food. But overall amazing experience, highly highly recommend!

The room is clean. The location is also good. The bad thing is the breakfast, not much varieties. We stayed there for 4 days. The first day we get up early and food were still available even though not variety. The second day, we went for breakfast at 9AM, everything empty only bread and one curry left, I asked for white rice to eat with curry but they mentioned that no more. Then the 3rd day, we went early around 8:15/8:20, also same nothing left even no rice. We really disappointed and the last day we even didnt go for lunch, we just order from Grab.

We stayed in the older part of the hotel wich was being renovated during our stay, we where kindly informed of this on arrival. Allthough some hammering could be heard during the morning it was not annoying and since the work was being done during the day did not disturb us. Exceptional service - staff are always attentive to our needs and very helpful. Make great recommendations for sightseeing, transport, food etc. Room has an excellent view of the city and even from the bathtub! Bath salt is also provided. Good location and walking distance to many places but we took Grab most of the time as the rides are inexpensive and the drivers always reach within 5 mins. I will not hesitate to stay at Pullman if I am in HCMC.

Very convenient hotel, close to the local hotspots, very friendly personnel and good breakfast. At lower floor the noise from the nearby traffic is a bit too loud, but fortunately the hotel gave us another room directly at the 15th floor, which was much better. Nice rooftop swimming pool, I'd go back to this place for sure.

Stay at 2322, floor of the executive lounge Special thanks to the receptionist with black-rimmed glasses. When I use out of hot water to make my own coffee and am going to take the elevator to the 1st floor to get some drink, though just out of the executive lounge’s operation hours, she is very nice to provide the hot coffee to me directly. She is a very caring , polite and keen. Such a employee is a treasure in the retailing business

Thanks for giving me nice experience. Staffs they can speak English so I felt safe and comfortable to stay. Not dirty at all. I arrived early before check in and staffs took my belongings safely, thanks again. 日本人です。とても綺麗で、トイレも紙水に流せてよかったです。水道水は使えないですが水が備え付けてあったのでそれを使うことができました。市街地(ベンタイン市場・ブイビエン通り)に近いので若者におすすめのホテル?と感じました。ありがとう。

Hotel is definitely different with its traditional Vietnamese furniture and old world charm. I would say the rooms are in a slight need of a facelift but booking this type of hotel you know you are not going to get a modern 5 star property. One things is for certain that the service level from all staff we encountered is fantastic. They were helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had a lovely stay.

Lovely spacious clean modern place to stay for families. Prompt service staff that can speak English, and super helpful luggage handlers and doorsmen. Although it's located next to a shopping mall, VivoCity, the locale is a bit far off from the usual tourist attractions in District 1. If you don't mind a 20-25min taxi commute, then this is the place to be.

Hotel was awesome. From the time you step into your lobby, you are very well taken care of until check out. The hotel facilities have everything. They are very attentive of your every single needs. As “luxurious” as it looks its not. Check in took about 45 minutes. As someone who works in the hospitality industry my hotel & many hotels I’ve stayed at have a check in and check out separate line. It was even more disappointing to wait in line to be told to wait when they should have the extra bell men who are waiting around to tell the guest to wait in the lobby instead of waiting in the long line. The receptionist I had didn’t ask how I was no warm greeting she just asked for my passport. It’s already giving me a sour taste. Get to my room it was very clean, the room has some neat tech features I thought were so cool. The room & the roof top pool is the only positive thing I have to say that pool is incredible. I wouldn’t recommend staying on the weekend way too many families with kids & the music is so loud. You can’t really enjoy the pool without kids being loud and peeing in the pool. The food was ok. To be honest if they have a facility day pass I’d do that unless the manager decides to have a meeting with the team to be better to never tell a guess “no” and separate check in lines. Hospitality service 0 Check in 0 Room with balcony was a 10/10 Pool 10/10

We booked two rooms temporarily, and the cost was a bit expensive (about VND 5000K). The room was small and the facilities were relatively old. When my friend who was traveling with me was looking for a hair dryer in the room, he found rotten fruit left behind by previous guests in the cabinet. The smell was very smelly. Another puzzling thing is that there are two bathrooms, but the service staff did not tell us how to use them. The overall service of the service staff was okay, and the breakfast was normal. Overall, the price/performance ratio is not very high.

Tony and Hannah was awesome during the stay! I’ve had enjoyed their breakfast, how welcoming they are and most importantly Tony cooks great scrambled eggs! 🤣 The hotel is extremely clean, house keeping was constantly given. Wide variety of breakfast with juice and water, vending machines which can solve your needs and you could even clean your laundry with their laundromat here. Payments are easy using your room card and no need to carry cash around.

Was recommended Intercon and it did not disappoint. Enjoyable stay for a girls' weekend and birthday trip. The hotel's location is the best- right across the Book Street, Notre Dame Cathedral and Post Office and a short walk to a street full of lovely cafes and restaurants and a slightly longer walk to the City Hall and Opera House. We were given a room on the 15th floor with a great view. Beds were very comfortable. Service was friendly and prompt. We will return!

1st Stay: We stayed two nights on our arrival in HCMC and our room was excellent with a window view, a very comfortable bed and pillows and very modern bathroom all with nice amenities, kettle, tea and coffee etc. The Staff at the front counter are so nice and friendly and helpful, always smiling and willing to assist. The breakfast was great with lots of choices of both Eastern and western food. The view from the 11th Floor Restaurant/ Breakfast area is spectacular especially at night when the Dinner cruise ships head up river. The staff at breakfast go out of their way to ensure you are looked after. They are only young kids but look after you so well and make a great Iced Coffee. 2nd Stay: We were so impressed with this hotel we spent out last four nights there again. We opted for a larger room which for the price was exceptional. Massive bathroom, with a bath and glassed in separate shower. Excellent amenities, replaced each day, two air conditioners , one for the bedroom and one for the TV room area. We had two TV's and heaps of space to put or luggage plus two arm chairs and a bench area. Once again the Staff were happy to see us again as we were to see them, all smiles and happy people, Thank You Ms Christina, Ly at the Front desk and all the other wonderful staff. We miss you all!! Our flight was a late night flight so we opted to stay and pay for half a day which was not a problem. We were sorry to leave and if we come back to HCMC will stay again. The location is away from the hustle and bustle near Nguygen Hue St and taxis are cheap to travel around in. We ate lunches and dinners while there and the standard of food was excellent, thanks Chef!! Highly Recommended to Travellers.

Overall the service and rooms were pretty good, however there was a little embarrassing moment at check-in when they asked the me to write down on paper the name of my girlfriend when she was already on the booking. They proceeded to tell me that it is okay this time only, but next time I need to book an extra room for my girlfriend. It was really embarrassing and I was actually kind of offended. Then I told him I reserved 1 Deluxe Double Room had the window, and next he took me to the room like the photo I uploaded. Is this room on this photo actually the Deluxe Double Room? I thought that this room I stayed is different from the photoes on booking sites. I would like to check it out on my next visit.

Softest bed in Vietnam. Great central location and the staff were great and most happy to assist. Pool was fantastic on the hot/humid days after exploring the city. Even dropped my wallet in the reception area and it was held safely behind the counter by staff for my return. Staff were fantastic about everything. Breakfast selection was broad and fresh. Highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again without a doubt.

The 2-bedroom apartment we stayed in was large and a great space for my family of four. The facilities were very nice but the service is excellent. We would like to thank Handsome Van at the front desk along with every person at the front desk for the next level of service they provided. I really was blown away by the great service we received from the doorman to the servers to the drivers to and from the airport. It has been 5 years since I have been back to Vietnam and the service at the hotel was spectacular. I would recommend this hotel to everyone! They really made my stay wonderful. Thank you Intercontinental Team. We will be back!

I have a business trip in Jan 2023 for a week. I booked 6 nights to stay in this hotel which is just next to Ben Thành Market. The hotel is clean and comfortable. But the shower knob is difficult to turn. Staff is ok. The location is very good for money exchange. The price is very reasonable. I was arranged at lower floor, it was a bit noisy. If you are looking for a hotel in Quan 1. Recommended but please ask for higher floor.

We stayed here 2N at the start & 2N at the end of our 12D tour. Each time the hotel bellhop was ready to assist us. Cannot say the same for the Reception staff. The 2nd time we were even given a room that we could not even lock and after waiting for some time and still not allocated a new room, we insisted that we be given one asap and they had no choice but to upgrade us. No tourist information was also given and when we asked for a map, they flipped through files and then said that there was none left. Surely, they could photocopy one from their file. We then asked directions to the river and all they told us was that it was too far to walk. We told them we had looked it up before we came to Vietnam and it was within walking distance. It is less than 2km away. The good points of the hotel is that it is very conveniently located opposite Ben Thanh Market and within walking distance to the river, Saigon Opera House and the Saigon Centre/Takashimaya where there were plenty of food choices. The buffet breakfast is also good enough with both Western (scrambled eggs/sausages/ham/salad/plain pastries) and Asian (congee/soup/rice with veg/fish/meat), a fruit juice/tea/coffee/fruits/yoghurt. Just be warned that the hotel's entry is via a flight of stairs. Hence, not suitable for those requiring wheelchair access or the very elderly.

This place is the pits Room was filthy , bedsheets were covered in hairs , the 2 towels we were given were all frayed , the shower was filthy ( attached shower head pic ) The room was stinking of paint fumes ! ( we had 2 rooms booked and although the online pictures show windows, our rooms did not ) We were demanded to pay upfront without being allowed to view the room , I could go on We stayed for 6 hours on the first night as we had flown from JFK but we had no option but to leave and move to another hotel Do your homework , read the other recent reviews ( I wish I had ) AVOID ! Please note I left a review with *********** but the “hotel” has had it removed!

The service was amazing! I was checked in by Anna, who greeted us with warm welcome, and the room was ready just right at time so we didn’t wait too long. Also, the Manager, Jennifer, who welcomed us with a surprising bouquet! Since it is our anniversary trip, and the hotel remembered the note, that was really sweet💖 The room was clean and stylish, however, the soundproof wasn’t good enough, so we kept hearing the noise from upstair(floor 11), which made our sleeping quality worse. This is the only part that I wish the hotel can improve.

Very budget hotel. Location is perfect right @ little japan saigon. Right in the moddle of all the actions, pubs and eateries. Big comfy rooms, but low floors will be very noisy with all the traffic and beeping. Water pressure on higher floors is useless, ended up taking showers at weird hours or a proper bath at the korean sauna across the road. Breakfast area is puny. But the food is alright. Just go abit later to avoid the working crowd. Shoutout to the 2 very pretty receptionists Miss ”Me” and colleague who always greeted us with smiles and made our day. They speak excellent english too. Recommended if you want to stay near this area with lowest budget.

Blue Diamond Signature Hotel 3* has shared the same address with Sky Gem Hotel Sora 4* in Google Map. The two hotels are now the same. Its does not look like the pictures shown in Google Map/Bookings. The hotel's good location is right opposite to the Thai Van Lung gate of Japanese corner. Its 8F pool area is under construction during May 2022. The corridors have not been air conditioned. Room numbers notice are attached by papers on the corner. Walking in the corridors feel like a maze. The garage is not in use. Decoration materials are there. If you have own vehicles, it is wise to park it in the nearby public pay parking lot. The lobby has a coffee shop. The restaurant provides simple breakfasts. The rooms with windows are DELUXE – Internal, Junior suite, VIP. It is suggested to book directly with the hotel. The Interiors are designed with many bamboos. The air conditioner in room takes a while to cool down the room. A ventilation well is behind the bamboo slide door. The bathtub is next to the bed. Toilet and shower room is behind the bed. The floor has no carpet. It is quiet during night. Soundproof is ok. In general, the hotel has a very good location.

Stayed here for NY countdown. The location is central, at the District 1 ”Japanese Street”. Bustling and convenient area. When not enjoying their nice breakfast, there are plenty of eateries nearby. The rooftop bar and pool was good for viewing new year fireworks too. However, a few setbacks deducted quite a few points. 1) faulty elevator at times (had to take the stairs sometimes, and be careful at the stairs as its ceiling is really low, my friend hit his head once) 2) hammering and drilling in nearby room or building at early hours (good thing is they let you switch room when dissatisfied) 3) first room had a weird smell (older room with Jacuzzi tub). The final room we got smelled nice (newer room with standard bathtub), but TV remote control and bathtub stopper were missing, had to ask for it 4) the final flaw that made my female friends very uncomfortable, was the clientele - many middle-aged men sitting or waiting around lobby area, ogling girls who walked by. Sometimes it's a group of men, sometimes they're paired with a local lady. Other things to note: - upon check-in, they will request to keep your passport throughout your stay. We were not going to do that, so we gave them VND500000 as deposit (which you'll get back when you check out) - the toilet and shower/bath area are separate, however the walls and doors were made of frosted glass, rather see-through, might be awkward for some if you're not a couple

Totally love this hotel, for the priced I was offered the smallest room at the highest level, 7.. however as someone with a large, heavy luggage, there were some flight of stairs that i had to take to access to the next building, so I had to carry my heavy suitcase on my own.. Room is very much 95% soundproof which helps a great deal!

We had a very mixed experience at A & Em Art Hotel with my family. While the hotel itself is clean, rooms nice and big (we had deluxe), and location superb, the hotel has also its' disadvantages - the staff being the biggest of them. During our three night stay we met with several staff members and almost all of them seemed to be very indifferent if not straight up rude toward us. Not all, but most of them. We had one male receptionist and a bell boy who were very friendly and attentive. Another complaint goes to breakfast. How can it be possible that when a place serves breakfast until 10am they are run out of food at 9am!? We didn't get any pho soup and even the coffee had ran out. And the staff did absolutely nothing but said that that's how it is. A big group that had come in is not an explanation, they should know about their guests. Another explanation was guests from the hotel across the street. That doesn't fly either since it's part of the same group (A & Em Corner Hotel). I usually don't care that much about hotel breakfast but this time we were travelling with my wife and our 1y11m daughter and having no breakfast really made our life more difficult. Pros - clean hotel - nice and clean rooms with complimentary water bottles for each day - excellent location Cons - breakfast, should probably go at 6am to receive any - staff and their attitude (excluding one bell boy, one receptionist, and the cleaners)

This Mother's home is good place to book and stay for any kind of travellers. Convenient location. Friendly supportive staff. Clean rooms. Comfy bed. All good. Safety and security also good. Bit of noisy came from neighbour rooms in middle of night. But it is their fun 😁 noisy. Only TV didn't work. But I didn't bother it other wise they would fix it. Recomend for foreigners.

I arrived on the 17th December and at first impressions, everything was great. The lady on reception was welcoming and checked me in to my room quickly, even though I had arrived quit a bit earlier than the check in time (I had an early morning flight from Hanoi the same day) my room was ready and I was allowed to go straight up. They had a porter took my large and heavy back up to my room for me, which was great. I only stayed for one night, because the next day I had an early morning flight to Bali. In the evening, around 9:30-10pm, I started getting all my things packed up again, as I had a 5am start the next morning, and I realised my passport was missing. I remember handing it over at reception for them to make a copy, and realised that I hadnt received it back. I headed down to reception to retrieve my passport, and was greeted by a very rude lady - a different person to the one that had greeted me in the morning and been so welcoming to me. When I asked for my passport back, she refused and immediately became unnecessarily agressive, and demanded that I give her money for it before it could be returned to me. She insisted again and asked me for 500,000 VND. I again refused to give her the money, and informed her that she had no right to withhold my passport from me, under any circumstances. I told her to go ahead and make a copy, but that I wasn't leaving reception until I had my passport back. I informed her that I was leaving early in the morning to make an international flight, and it was vital that I have my passport with me so that it isn't lost / misplaced / forgotten. Again, she got even angrier and shouted at me, ”no money, no passport!”. At this point, I certainly wasn't going to back down, but despite her aggression and rudeness, I managed to stay calm and polite during the entire exchange, because I knew she had no legal right to keep my passport. As a long term traveller I'm aware that hotels cannot withhold your passport from you under any circumstances. I informed the woman that the passport was not actually my property, that officially, it belongs to the British Crown - which is true. I also informed her that I was fully aware the foreigners in Vietnam are required to carry photo ID with them at all times, and that the police would be interested to know that my passport was being withheld from me. At that point she realised that she had lost, and literally threw my passport at me and it landed on the reception counter. She then shouted at me, ”Go back to your room!”. I asked her what the problem was, and she literally yelled, ”GO TO YOUR ROOM, GO NOW!” I guess she didn't like the fact that I knew she was wrong and made her look stupid. She knew she was wrong, and I know for a fact that had I needed to get the police to help, they would have certainly made sure she returned the passport to me. But everything else was ok. I was very pessimistic given the bad reviews that I have read. But I was VERY surprised. The receptionist did speak English and helped with my luggage. The room was as pictured. There was even hot water. There was no drinking water provided though but it wasn't a dealbreaker.
