We just spent six days at Shiduli Private Game Lodge and it was one of the best, if not the best trips we ever took! The people, the game drives, the food, the service were all top notch! We stayed in the honeymoon suite and I highly recommend staying here. The housekeepers were amazing and cleaned the room twice a day. We had our own plunge pool and big private deck which we sat out everyday looking at animals in our backyard. Security was prompt and always around, they even walked us to and from our room when it was dark outside as the room was the furthest away from the lodge. Our every aame drive trying to find us some great views of the wildlife. In the morning they stopped for coffee and tea and muffins and the evening game drive they would pack you a cold beverage and some snacks. They were knowledgeable and respectful of the animals and birds and fauna. We highly recommend you going to Shiduli you will never be disappoined.

Everything was great. it was the such an amazing experience - the trip of a lifetime. The accommodations and staff were exceptional. I had no complaints and can offer no advice on making the experience better. I recommend Shiduli 100%.

This is a perfect place to stay. From the moment we arrived we had perfect service from lovely friendly staff. The food was great and very plentiful and the rooms were gorgeous. Particularly liked the towel elephants they put on the bed!

We stayed at Shiduli Lodge in October. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with refreshing drinks and warm hand towels. Everyone was very accommodating and friendly, Our room was lovely ( but could have used a little more closet space)The game drives were fantastic! Peter and Charlie were wonderful tracker and guide! The Best!! We loved the nice touch of coffee and muffins "out in the bush" in the mornings and our "Happy Hour" in the bush on the evening drives.The lodge was beautiful! There are plenty of areas to get away and have your private time. It would be nice to have a little more things to do between game drives, Perhaps open pool bar, local music(?)trivia(?) Anyway, we enjoyed our stay very much...

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Shiduli Game Lodge in October 2023. It was the best first safari experience I could have hoped for. The service from all the staff was excellent. Special shoutout to Marvell and Heinel who took us on our 8 game drives during our stay. The lodge was clean, organized and everyone was very helpful.

Shiduli was our first stop on an almost month-long trip through S. Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Botswana. It was a great place to kick it off! The resort itself is lovely, from the spacious lodge with tons of great spaces to curl up with a book to the room, which was large and clean and had everything one would ever want or need. The staff were warm and friendly, from the managers to the game drivers/guides and trackers, to Shiduli herself...a little kitty who welcomed me to my room by running inside and snuggling into my pillows! I'm pretty sure we got the absolute very best guide and tracker team of Gilbert and Johnson...they were like magicians...mention what you wanted to see and they would find it! We saw all 5 of the Big Five plus plenty of other critters, birds, insects, flora and fauna. They were both so knowledgeable about everything that lives in the area! Gilbert's face when he talks about eating termites and mopani worms is priceless..."it's de-li-ci-ous!" I truly can't say enough good things about Shiduli. I only hope I can return one day.

Great staff that make you feel at home. Wildlife around every corner. They really put in the effort to provide personal experience. The guides really worked as a team to find the animals. Room very comfortable with a lot of hot water. Internet slow but really it was about enjoying the moment. Got to meet some really amazing people.

What a great safari experience. The game lodge is part of the Karongwe private game preserve. It's over 8000 hectares in size with all the big five there. First, go for the private game preserve. It's a different experience than a national park. While there are ten lodges that share the preserve, the guides and trackers do a great job of coordinating so there are never more than two jeeps at any sighting. Our guide Happy was awesome. Of the big five, he was the first to sight four of them. And, yes, we did see the fifth with the help of another guide. Karongwee also has white rhinos. I understand that the nearby Kruger National Park no longer does do to poaching. After the game drives, the Shiduli lodge was a great home base. I believe it's the largest of the Karongwee portfolio properties. About thirty rooms. The rooms were spacious though not opulent. The meals were solid. Some were great. But the staff--top to bottom--was absolutely amazing.

shiduli is far too close to main road. its accommodations have thin walls so you can hear everything said in next room. i asked 3x for stool or chair to sit by the desk -- it never appeared nor did i receive any explanation. i was initally given room that smelled bad, then reassigned to another; the second was smaller than the first and was DEFINITELY not Luxury category -- the refrgerator door scraped on the floor. i did LOVE the game drives and the staff appeared to be trying very hard.
