Nice decoration before X mas time. Hotel& kitchen is Superb! Rooms are big, clean, clear. Foods: one of the best hotel’s food in Hungary.All type of meals are 5 stars.Bread is fantastic with high range of varieties.At breakfast you can taste hungarian Langos, which is maybe the best what i ever tasted. Maybe one thing: rooms are overheated,25 C at wintertime. No need…

Location- great one, walking distance from the Unesco heritage site if Holloko Food- exceptional, both at dinner and breakfast Hotel- standard 4 star, with all amenities by the book. Spa- not too big, not too small. 3 types of saunas, the steambath was not working fully Cleanliness - rooms- ok. Spa general- ok, though some showers seemed with rust on the floor. The private jacuzzi was dirty- with hair, dirt in the water and dirt stucking on the edge of the jacuzzi. Rip off- no late check out possible ( which I can understand) but also no free access after 11.00 to the wellness area. ( pity, as few extra people does not add to the costs but create a feeling of great service). We arrived at lunch- we were told that it is not possible to have lunch in the restaurant, they solved it shortly. Staff- generally polite, well groomed.

The hotel is a real pearl: clean and nice; they offer the best of Hungarian hospitality. Went there with work colleagues and friends, enjoyed the wellness area - especially the sauna which has a nice view over the valley -, the bowling and the pool bar. The early morning view from the room was unforgettable, just as the the whole experience.

We had a fantastic one night experience at Hollokó, nice hotel, amazing food, gorgious wellness area, polite staff. Next day after the check out we had a one day free use of wellness area use in our package so we planned that after the excursion we will return to the spa. But when we checked out the receptionist told us that we can use the wellness only till 2 pm. I was totally shocked and félt to be cheated as we were counted with this option, as it was included in our package, so it is a great dissappoin**ent at the end. I am realky sorry, bur I think the information given should be in line with the realty. I exoected more from a 4 star hotel in this term.

The "excellent"Reviews below are totally exagerated or the five star reviewers have never eaten anywhere decent! We reserved a table for two,about 5 other tables occupied, after 25 min, no service not even a menu! When complaining to the waiter, he blatantly turned his face and ignored us! We proceeded to leave and on our way out passed by the reception desk, there we had the same trea**ent, shrugging of shoulders and a no care attitude, I do not advise anyone to eat at the restuarant or stay at this hotel, its a poor reflection on a quaint, cute village☹️

Hotel in general is good. Good food adequate service etc but there is a serious conceptional error. There is a bowling alley in the basement. The noise goes right up into the room upsatairs (2nd floor) making it impossibe to have an afternoon nap or early sleep. Shame.

Excellent kitchen, beautiful environment, nice staff - a memorable birthday-weekend in the world Heritage village. Worth to spend more days, visiting the neighbourhood, hiking in the near forests, hills, biking in Cserhat ( it is recommended, because you will be full of very nice food all the time, if you stay at this place :-) )

The room is perfect, comfortable. Modern and clean. The relaxing spa facilities are also excellent. The food and the quisine is just to be rated as best ever ! Michelins star recommended . The stuff is very friendly and we can recommend this hotel with the best rate !

Great hotel, calm, comfortable, great food and hospitality. Reserved 2 nights and added 1 more onsite as it was really good. Stayed in a Superior room (more space), decoration is modern with lots of wood, bathroom is splendid. Both breakfast and dinner are pretty good with a nice selection. Wellnes is ok (10 m pool, kids pool and a jacuzzi; sauna, infra sauna and steam room), sunbeds are available outside also. Doctor fish care is fun :) Old village is 5 min walk away, castle is 15 min away. Bycicle rent is avaiable but bikes should be maintained. The whole area is very relaxed, great place for a few day get away with some activities.
