The Circ Powered by Sonder

Втрой раз в отеле, в этот раз номер бы просто плохой, изношенный. Не хватало части аксессуаров, (не было ковра, в душе сломанные дозаторы для шампуня и геля для душа). Еще и с дверью в соседний номер где жили шумные соседи.

This is a great place to stay. Clean, spacious, located near restaurants and shops and 10 min ride to parks and beach. The staff is polite and helpful and the restaurant Olivia, has excellent food and a great roof top bar. This is our second stay and we will be back again!

We booked a suite with the kitchen, advertised as fully stocked with the basics. There was a toaster and a coffee machine with four coffee pods. No spoons, forks, knives, no plates, no glasses, except a few paper cups, and no coffee cups. Bathrooms are fairly clean, and the beds were comfortable. It was a lot of street noise. It took two hours for a technician to respond to our request for help with the television. Besides the technician there was a valet who parked our car for $30 a day. There was never a person at the front desk, as we were sent a code to access the elevator and our room.

There was one disappointment, the hotel had no bottled water available & their vending machine was broken down. They said you could go over to Publix & get some if you like. Did not have an ice machine available.

You need a 6 digit code to get into the hotel, into the elevator and into the room. Room serviced only if you order 24 hrs in advance and pay$20. Valet is $30/day but the best part of the hotel. Doordasher not allowed up. Second one got trapped in stairwell and fire exits were locked. Marble floors in shower very slippery and no mats or bars to hold onto. Tiny fridge, no microwave. No phone in room, no way to reach front desk. Ice on one floor only.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. And I have stayed at dozens of hotels. Onerous procedure to reserve room. No parking except valet. No room service, toilet was not working properly. Cheap on towels and amenities. Coffee machine didn’t work (but they replaced it). Uninviting hallways. Not one comfortable chair in the room. Terrible lighting in room. Pillows are all soft and mushy. Weird, ridiculous bed coverings. You’re either freezing or sweating. Room a/c was inconsistent and thermostat must not have been working. The people who own or manage this hotel should get out of the hospitality business. They are terrible at this.

The Circ is conveniently located next to necessary amenities like Publix, Walgreens, coffee shops etc. My time was well spent. Overall it was a good stay with the exception of an alarm that randomly went off caused by the apartment building next door. I looked forward to having a balcony howeve the balcony was concreted off (no view) and super small. These things didn’t affect my trip however they are worth mentioning. Worth mentioning is the kindness of the front desk staff..very kind young lady. May stay again...hopefully with a better balcony 🙂

I stay in hotels around the country 200 nights a year and this is the second negative review I’ve left, it was dirty, the air conditioner in the room sounded like a 747, and the toilet would not flush. It was so bad that I out early (other guests were not happy and were doing the same), was told at the front desk it wouldn’t be a problem and to call ******* for a refund, it turns out it was a problem and ******* cannot generate a refund without Sonders permission, which they will not give; I also spoke to the rudest and most unprofessional customer service person I have ever interacted with (based on his accent he was from/in the UK). I cannot tell everyone loudly enough to avoid this property and this brand of hotels, there are numerous other properties in this price range that you will be much happier with (Marriott, Wyndham, IHG, etc); everything from their “online”‘check in system and passcodes, to their service at the location, to their knowledge of refund policy, to their customer service people are the worst I’ve ever encountered. If I could give them a zero I would.

Overall it’s a beautiful property. It smelled very good in the lobby. The room looked like the picture except for the balcony. It was small. I didn’t like the bed frame as it seems to be too big for the mattress so I kept hitting my legs as I got off the bed. The mattress was too soft and the pillows as well. I know some people would appreciate that but I like a soft but firm bed. They should think about putting a microwave in the rooms. Also should put a hand held shower head in the bathroom. The area the hotel was in seemed abandoned. A lot of construction was being done and there was a lot of empty store fronts. Maybe in a few years it would be more lively. I did go here to rest so it served its purpose. I won’t be back
