Hotel is a bit old & needed a renovation, if you don’t have a car with you, you just got stuck in the hotel with nearby one petrol kiosk to get your drinking water, a McDonald's & a Danny to feed your tummy.
Shopping center that Aventura Mall needs to book a Uber, can be pricey at US$30 per way.

The room smell like hell,carpet stink and wet.
Its impossible to stay in rooms ,we sparyed parfume and waited to check out

Asked if an early check in was possible and was told they would call us when our room was ready, never received a call and multiple people were checked in before us as we sat and watched( and were repeatedly told our room wasn’t ready when we came up to desk) the entire waiting room was full at 3pm check in time and multiple rooms “weren’t ready” Got in our room at 5pm

Rooms not ready until 3. I understand that. But was told I would be called when room available. Never got the call, apparently staff turnover miscommunication. No big deal. When finally got in room I answered knock on my door thinking it was room service. My mistake. Young man entered my room and looked around mumbling in foreign language while my wife and I stood there in fear before he left Maybe innocent mistake but got no apology reported incident to staff. No satisfaction was told they would check security camera. Never heard back. Terrible service at the cafe at dinner. I cannot wait to leave this place

The bedroom smelled horribly, like mildew. I realize it’s Florida but it was overwhelming and gave us headaches. We got a room for 4, two queen beds and we only had two towels available. We went to the drink machine by the elevators and all but 1 of the 6 drinks we bought were expired by 6 months. The shower had hair on the walls and bottom of the tub. Luckily we were only there for 9 hours, we would not stay there again.
