"Super nice owner and staffs, i originally booked 3 nights but ended up stay here almost a week. Very relax and freindly atmosphere. I would definitely come back again if I visit Xishaungbanna in the near future"

"The room environment was decent and quite clean. The lobby on the first floor is a common area with plenty of seating. You can buy coffee at the front desk, and it tastes pretty good. The only downside is that the men's restroom showers don't have doors or curtains, and they're directly opposite the squat toilets, which makes showering quite awkward."

"This hostel boasts an excellent location. It's a pleasant 400-500 meter walk to the Lancang River, and Peacock Lake Park is about a kilometer away. A fresh market for fruits, along with 'Luoluo Bingwu' (a local dessert shop) and several other restaurants, are all within a kilometer's radius. You can easily rent an electric scooter right outside to visit attractions further afield. It’s perfect for both long-term stays and short trips. The hostel's common areas are very spacious. The first floor is great for working, and the second-floor terrace is incredibly comfortable – perfect for sunbathing during the day and stargazing at night. The overall cleanliness is good, and the bedding is very comfortable and clean. The four-bed and eight-bed dorms share two bathrooms, so there's never a queue. The environment is quiet, as it's located within a residential building. The owner is a warm, friendly, and very helpful sister."

"The hostel is well located at walking distance from Manjinglan Ancient City, the Riverside Night Market and the Star Light Night Market (a longer walk) There are many convenience shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood The room (8 female dorm) is spacious with large lockers but as already mentioned by other guests, there are many permanent residents and the room feels a bit crammed But the building is cosy with a downstairs and an upstairs open air garden/vommon area for meeting with fellow travellers The personnel is so friendly and helpful, a real treat!"

"This is a detached house located within a residential community, offering exceptional peace and safety. It's conveniently situated for getting around, and shared electric scooters can be parked right outside the community gate. The bedding is high-quality, and for female guests, it's a cute pink set. There are lockable cabinets both inside the room and in the hallway outside. I was really happy to have a balcony to dry clothes, and a squat toilet, which is very hygienic. There's also a small courtyard and a common area on the first floor, plus a cat! Since it was off-season, I basically had the 6-person dorm all to myself. I stayed for half a month because it was so comfortable."

"The location is very good, within walking distance from Splashing Square. The hotel has a complete set of settings. It is a former standard room renovation. The bathroom is in the room. It is more convenient. The male and female rooms are separated."

"I've stayed at some dumps over the years, but wow, this place is just awful. Should be renamed dystopia. While the owner of the hostel is very friendly, this place is not much better than sleeping on the street. There's no noise isolation at all, the bed is literally just a board and is just as comfortable as sleeping on the ground. There is no shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, air conditioning, wifi, or towels. Even though this place is listed as smoke free, smoking is allowed in the hallway and in the reception. The room is also filthy and doesn't look like anything in it has been replaced or renovated in the past 200 years. If you're coming to Jinghong, stay slightly outside of the city. You can get a very reasonably priced, comfortable hotel with the only con being it'll take you an extra 10 minutes to get to places. Unless you don't care at all about your environment, avoid."
