"From the entrance to the room and even the smallest details, the interior design is very tastefully subdued. The room windows are large, and even though I had a mountain view, it felt very spacious. The hot spring on the second floor also had relaxing, subdued lighting. However, it might have just been my luck, but on the day I stayed, there were many families with children. The front desk during check-in and check-out, as well as the second floor, were overflowing with people. Even with three elevators, it was impossible to get on, leading to waits of over 10 minutes. I've never encountered such a situation at other hotels, so that was my only complaint. Overall, it was a very good stay."

Encountering such dedicated individuals during a trip is undoubtedly a rare stroke of luck. And the hotel's facilities are full of surprises! Outside the large public bath, complimentary drinks are available, along with table tennis and arcade games, adding a playful touch to your relaxation. The lobby features Japanese snacks and board games, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere; the relaxation area on the second floor is even more serene and comfortable – once you sit down, you won't want to leave. The dining experience here is simply sublime. Various alcoholic beverages are kept in ice buckets, freely awaiting wine enthusiasts! Dinner is exquisite and innovative; each dish is a stunning work of art, so delicious that it makes you want to return just for the food. Breakfast is delicate and abundant, awakening your taste buds and setting a wonderful tone for the day. The shiso soda thoughtfully provided in the in-room mini-fridge is incredibly refreshing after a hot spring soak, leaving a lasting, pleasant aftertaste. The toiletries have a delicate fragrance, leaving the skin soft and comfortable after use – even these small details are not overlooked. The overall service is friendly and sincere, without being overly familiar, yet maintaining just the right amount of professionalism. It truly feels like a 'just right' luxury experience! The hotel's surroundings are quiet and pristine, and transportation to and from the lakeside is convenient. Whether taking a taxi or using the hotel's shuttle service to JR Toya Station, it's effortless. It feels like Hotel Premium Lake Toya is not just a hotel, but a cherished memory of a journey. "We had a great stay in Toya! The hotel is conveniently located near both the bus station and the train station, which made traveling very easy. The location is definitely one of its best features. The staff were very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. Just a heads up — there is no private bath in the room, so be prepared to use the public bath/onsen. But honestly, the onsen was very good and relaxing, so it was a great experience. Getting a taxi early in the morning (before 7 AM) can be quite difficult in Toya, so it’s better to arrange your taxi the night before. A taxi from the station to the hotel costs around 2,000–3,000 yen. Overall, a comfortable, relaxing, and convenient place to stay!"

"Overall a great stay. The biggest advantage is the convenience. It is truly ski in ski out, which makes it very easy to access the slopes without needing to travel anywhere. The slopes here are also very beginner friendly. They are not too steep, which makes it a comfortable place to learn or practice skiing. I also took a 2 hour private ski lesson arranged through the hotel. Our instructor, Yuki, was very friendly, patient, and encouraging, which made the learning experience enjoyable. The only downside was the food. Both the dinner and breakfast buffet had quite limited variety, and the taste was just average. Considering the price we paid, the food did not feel very worth it. Overall, it is still a good place to stay if you want convenience and easy access to beginner friendly slopes. Just do not expect too much from the buffet."

"Along Lake Toya, there's a row of hotels, much like Yangcheng Lake in Suzhou. I chose this one, and it offers great value for money. There were quite a few ********* tour groups staying here. Both breakfast and dinner are buffet style and quite extensive, with fresh ingredients. However, don't expect fancy tableware or presentation. I booked a lake-view room, and the small balcony was a nice touch. There's a 7-Eleven nearby, so it's a convenient option if your stay doesn't include meals."

"I was a little conflicted about my experience here. I was not sure if I would come back to the hotel given the high price point didnt really match the service. To begin with we were left alone at the check in kiosk to complete the check in on our own. There were so many staff everywhere and I noticed other staff were assisting other guests attentively. Then after completion of check in we noticed three small cups of welcome beverages beside our luggages. We have to ask the staff if they were prepared for us or not as nobody was there to serve us. That is really bad by the standard of the hotel. Might as well not serve the drinks. Dinner wise we were initially very impressed by the food spread during the dinner buffet. However we were so thirsty after the meal I guessed the kitchen had been quite generous with msg. It was also disappointing for the room windows to have stains / streaks as they affects the beautiful view of lake toya. So at the end of the day I guess it was the matter of expectation not being met as we really looked forward to the most expensive stay for our Hokkaido trip."

"We stayed at Rusutsu Resort Hotel & Convention and we were truly impressed. We came for skiing, and the location is perfect — just step out of the hotel and you’re right at the ski slopes. So convenient .⛷️❄️ The room was spacious, very clean, and extremely comfortable. The snowy view from the window made the whole experience even more special. After a full day of skiing, relaxing in the onsen was absolutely amazing. It was the perfect way to unwind and recharge. ♨️✨ The staff were friendly, polite, and very helpful. "We had a wonderful stay at Niseko Grand Hotel! My friend and I truly enjoyed our time there. One of the highlights was definitely the hotel's own hot springs — absolutely amazing. There are both female-only and mixed-gender areas, which was a great option to have. The staff was incredibly friendly and always eager to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality really made us feel welcome. In fact, staying here felt more like being at a countryside residence than at a hotel — warm, peaceful, and cozy, just like home. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Niseko — and we hope we will! We stayed in a traditional Japanese-style room, which made the experience even more special. Yukata and yuami (bathing suit) were also provided. The hotel also offers free shuttle buses to the ski slopes regularly, which made it super convenient for us to enjoy the mountains. On the day of our departure, the hotel’s driver kindly took us to the nearest train station. Another standout was the hotel’s restaurant. Breakfast was included in our stay, and we also chose to have dinner there a few times. Every dish we tried was delicious and beautifully prepared. The buffet offered a wide variety of both Asian and Western cuisine, and the selection was impressive for both breakfast and dinner. We also tried eating out at a couple of other restaurants in Niseko, but we both agreed that the hotel’s restaurant was by far the best for us. Highly recommend this place!"

"The overall environment is excellent, with beautiful lake and mountain views, and direct access to the lakeside from the B1 level. The hot springs are also great, well-equipped, and thoughtful in detail. However, the toilet and bathroom in the room are extremely small and a bit inconvenient. The biggest issue is the entryway/foyer inside the room, and the toilet is a step higher than this area. To enter or exit the toilet, you first have to step down into the foyer and then step up into the toilet. Both my mother and I almost tripped several times."

"The room facilities are a bit old, but the space is decent. The main draw is the good value for money, especially with the half-board option (dinner and breakfast included), which is very convenient even if the variety was a bit repetitive. The best part was definitely the outdoor hot spring, and they also have a shuttle bus to Sapporo Station."
