Service and location was great, definitely enjoyed my stay!

Room 110 when we arrived the toilet was slow to empty. At midnight it backed up and they had no one to come fix it. They didn’t have a plunger and they didn’t have another room to put us in. My son and his wife were in room 106. The microwave didn’t work. We were leaving on Saturday morning around 9 am. All they had was bagels left at the breakfast buffet.

The TownePlace Suites is less than a 10 minute drive from Hobby Airport, perfect for a late or early flight. We were told to call the day of arrival and were instructed to walk to Zone 5 and call the hotel for a Lyft ride. We did so and were sent a link to watch for our ride share, provided free by the hotel in place of a shuttle. My local Houston friend had warned that Hobby Airport surroundings are not a very safe area, so we used DoorDash for our meal (Ninfa’s has excellent TexMex) and didn’t leave the hotel. It did appear that the surroundings were primarily other motels and hotels. We requested mobile checkin but were told this location requires checking in at the front desk. We had requested a quiet location on the reservation and the online checkin, but were told all quiet locations were already given out. They didn’t notice that we’d requested a late checkout, so I’m guessing they just didn’t check reservation requests. No mention made of our Marriott rewards status, but when I asked if we got anything for Lifetime Platinum, we were instructed to grab a water from the marketplace. Free breakfast didn’t have a ton of choices, but everything was extremely clean and neatly presented. I had two hard boiled eggs and two delicious oranges that were really flavorful. Oatmeal, cereal, milk, juice, coffee, pastries…the usual fare was offered. The room is modern but faced a very bright light and noise from the neighboring motel, but the second layer of rolldown blinds blocked most of it. My son always travels with a sleep mask and ear plugs, so slept fine. The room is quite small…no couch or comfy chair, but a kitchen table with four chairs and a very small efficiency with smaller fridge, microwave, sink, dishwasher. The only tv is on a side wall but levers out. Bathroom is also modern, but vanity is only large enough for one toiletry bag, Vanity and shelf are low quality MDF so show chips and wear. The price of points was low and the location ideal for a night’s sleep near the airport, before heading to Galveston for our cruise. Many of the other Marriott branded hotels near Houston Hobby had crunchy reviews, so this seemed the best choice. I would stay again for a similar price and purpose.

We had 4 nights, 2 nights in 2 queen (437) and 2 nights in a king suite (432)! In. Both rooms have full kitchen with enough utensils for a family of 4. Beds are comfy, linens are clean, and the rooms are well-kept! Except, the King suite does not have a dining table. Isaac, receptionist, is the BEST! His restaurant recommendations were awesome! He also made sure, as Marriott Titanium, that we’re taken cared off… Jose, a staff, was always on the go, keeping the premises clean and presentable!!! Great job, JOSE!!!! Patricia, breakfast staff, was very attentive to the needs of very client that had their breakfast in the lobby! Amazing staff, nice location, close to the airport and many great restaurants!

Great place to stay, clean, efficient. Nice room, microwave and refrigerator, silverware, cooking items, just like a studio apartment. Plenty of towels, clean bathroom, swivel tv. Isolated nowhere to walk to eat or shop. Breakfast was really nice for the price. Yogurt, granola, cereal, bacon, eggs, bread, fruits, bagels, waffles, oatmeal

Arrived late In evening and Elizabeth at front desk was most welcoming and helpful. Room was clean and smelled fresh. Breakfast was a nice touch, and Guadalupe set out a good display with a big smile. We would stay here again. (Transparency) I am a Westin Hotel team member.

Immaculate property, comfy bed, great price. Soon to have an airport shuttle, too! The best part is the customer service. I was greater by Abraham Diaz and promptly checked into my room after being briefed on offerings such as complementary breakfast. Abraham went above and beyond by switching rooms for me due to my own preference for two beds. He shared travel tips and made my work trip feel less work and more like being at home. Will stay here again, Thank you!
