Manor House Lindley

We had the afternoon tea, it was a birthday treat for my husband... it was delicious! The presentation was fabulous 👌 Super friendly staff. The hotel is beautiful, the decor is stunning.. we are already planning our next visit.... Sunday lunch is next! Absolutely recommended

Afternoon tea, wow the best afternoon tea experience we have ever had. The room is absolutely stunning before you ever see the food. The selection of cakes pastries and sandwiches can not be bettered the staff are friendly and very attentive and informative. We drove down from the Lakes which has more afternoon tea venues than you can shake a stick at but none come close to the experience we had at the Manor House Lindley. Fabulous just fabulous.

The Manor House in Lindley offers a captivating glimpse into the 18th century with its beautiful decor. The ambiance exudes elegance and charm, transporting guests to a bygone era. My stay in the apartment was a delightful experience, blending modern comfort with historic charm seamlessly. From the intricate furnishings to the attention to detail, every aspect of the decor is carefully curated, creating a truly memorable stay. An absolutely gorgeous place!

We have just been to the manor house for Easter Sunday lunch . We had the most amazing time. It was incredibly busy , fully booked with also a wedding on, but the staff were calm and unhurried and very attentive to everyone. The food was perfect , beautifully cooked and well presented. The menu was was well thought out and there was choice for everyone. We will definitely return

My stay was beyond expectation. It was my second time staying here and I must say it was even better this time around. Room 10 is absolutely stunning and feels very private, the decor and finish is wonderful, as are the many little extras included. The personalised note is a lovely touch as is the macaron. I cannot fault it. The aircon was excellent too which is a huge thing for myself. I would like to give particular mention to the girl that served me at breakfast. She was soo pleasant, attentive and friendly. She certainly brightened up my workday so thank you. On a similar note, breakfast was excellent - the smashed avocado with sriracha and the orange juice were delicious, the coffee too. And again the setting is stunning and very relaxing. Thanks to all of the other staff too, everyone was very welcoming, polite and friendly.

My wife, Jacqui, had booked us here for Tuesday and Wednesday nights as a surprise for my 80th birthday and it was a really good choice, although we had to eat out on Tuesday evening in Erics restaurant. From arrival and being greeted by Amy to the last night in the Lantern Restaurant when we were excellently served by James and his team, the whole stay was perfect. The breakfast venue, as with the entire boutique hotel was wonderful with efficient and pleasant staff. Only small downside was a lack of wardrobe space in an otherwise ideal room Nine. Well done and will return. BB

Arrived to the Manor House on a rainy Tuesday afternoon. Checked in with a friendly receptionist and was shown to our room. Bottle of wine that I had arranged was in the room on ice, 2 clean glasses. Room 7 was cosy but well decorated, a gorgeous bathroom and expensive feeling sheets/towels all other amenities. After a bit of trouble with the tv streaming service, it was sorted swiftly and professionally. This was the only issue we encountered over the 2 night stay. We ate out of the hotel for night one at Eric’s along the road, 5 minute walk (separate review for that). We had a couple of cocktails on the first night, which were lovely and fresh. I was warm overnight - didn’t feel the air con was that effective and couldn’t get it to go any lower than 19, would ask for a fan next time in Room 7 ☺️ The breakfast the next morning was fantastic, a huge highlight with a gorgeous menu and setting, as well as the service. After going out for the day, and returning back to the hotel, I got the best surprise of my life to find my partner had arranged the suite for night 2, champagne, flowers and proposed to me! It was a complete and total surprise, they executed the details so well, I didn’t suspect a thing. Room 10 was amazing, try it for yourselves! We are in the hotel restaurant for dinner on night 2, the service was excellent and the food some of the best duck I’ve ever eaten. A delight. A stay to remember and I can’t wait to come back. Had just the two of us wedding package. The value for money was excellent. 10 guests small and intimate yet EVERYTHING a bigger wedding had couldn’t do enough for us from the being to the very end. Rooms amazing so comfortable and spacious, food exceptional, so many wows bar and cocktails nothing was too much trouble. Couldn’t rate this place highly enough for a small wedding or big venue. The all the staff super friendly and caring. They all made our day so special and want to do it all over again. We have eaten the tasting menu before and been for drinks many time. The highest standard for a small hotel. Love love love

From check in to check out the service was impeccable. The staff are warm, friendly but professional and all go out of their way to make sure you’re well cared for. Our room was stunning, with little details like freshly made macarons, eye masks and lovely toiletries. We would recommend Manor House Lindley to our friends, and already have in fact!
