Seasalter Maldives

小巧的酒店，在馬爾代夫上島前過渡是個不錯的選擇。

看花眼了，這酒店不在旅遊的島上，而是在馬累，幸好跟船出了一趟海，並且曬傷了，不然就白瞎了這趟馬爾代夫之遊。酒店的確也是在海邊，服務一般，歺飲在周邊的歺廳解決，有蕭索的氣息。

設施：比較老舊，牆皮都掉灰

房間很乾凈，酒店人員超級熱情～體驗感很好

Seasalter is your average neighborhood hotel with a lobby on one floor, rooms on the second and a restaurant on the third. But what sets it apart are the warm people who were always helpful and had a smile on their faces. We were traveling with an infant and were concerned about what we would get to feed her. However, the chef was kind enough to make a meal to our exact specifications. Anando at the reception took care of our every need as did the staff at the “high tide” restaurant. But this review would be incomplete without the mention of the incredible food we had there. Fresh, delicious and very generous portions. Recommend if you have a day or two in the city.

Room 4 Location 5 Service 1 (except for the delightful manager, Jamie - Room was a bit dated,but it is a beach hotel. - Location/view was fantastic. They are close to nice restaurants. Definitely try Waterside for local food. - I only had a cappuccino at the hotel. Took about 3 sips. Didn’t venture to try the food after that. - I stayed up til 4:30 am to watch a play off game. They cut off my internet exactly at that time. They said it was because the phone company limits them to 100 gigs of data for all guests, per month, and I had already gone over my 2 gig allo**ent (which btw I don’t think I did, though it’s not much). The next day I noticed that on the room key, where they had my internet codes, it said they were valid for only 2 days, I was staying for 4. They cut me off at 1.5. I was paying about 250/night. Would have paid more for internet Jamie gave me a new code but I run a tech company, and it’s the play offs, so I left when my reservation was over. They said the phone company has the same policy for all hotels on the beach. It’s not true. My new hotel is down the road from them, is really nice, and with unlimited, very fast internet. So, either they are trying to save a tiny bit of money by limiting guest internet, or they have an issue with the phone company, that they should be more upfront about. Somewhere, someone, might be lying to someone else. Also, if you ask a question, you will probably be asked one back.

We stayed here twice on our way in and out of the Maldives. we were made to feel very welcome and the shuttle met us and took us back to the airport on schedule. The room was nice with a view over the sea but still not too noisy from the road below. the bed was very comfortable and AC efficient and quiet. We loved the breakfast and had an enjoyable dinner on the roof top restaurant one evening.

The AC was extremely hot, informed to the staff 2 times and staff just come and say all the AC like that and it’s normal there. Going there to relax, but couldn’t because it was extremely hot 🥲 very not recommended! except their restaurant and breakfast, food was amazing.

The area (beach and streets) are extremely dirty, trash everywhere, I dont know if thats normal for the whole Island or is it only this are but we couldn’t wait for our stay to be over. Hotel its narrow and small. The room tiny, has mold on the curtain in the shower. The faucet is to short you can barely wash your hands. Curtains of windows are ripped. Persistent noose from the road. We laid in the bed and noticed there are crumbs…certainly not our crumbs. Made us feel icky. The staff are very pleasant though. Definitely wouldn’t recommend staying in the area.
