這是我住過最差的五星級酒店。房間裏有蟑螂一樣的蟲子，類似於電影裏木乃伊裏拍出來的那種蟲子，還是很可怕的。跟前台説後。前台經理居然跟我説這是正常的，換個房間也不能保證沒有，因為這是在沙漠。很無語。我住在裏面直接來噴殺蟲劑。最主要的是服務態度很差。

It’s my third time in Egipt, but this hotel made by far a great experience. Staff was great , nice and helpful, with or without tips. Nice rooms and good wifi all over the place , including the beach . Food tasty and pretty good variety. The diving center , Extradivers … extraordinary. Great instructors for getting the diving certificate (Jordan👌🏼👌🏼) and also, awesome boat trips . At the beach, a great place for snorkeling with a lot of fish . Totally recommend

A very welcoming massive resort with lots to offer. It's in a very secure compound. The resort staff are very helpful from taking luggages from/to transfer coaches, taking it to room in an electric buggy. Reception staff are helpful - especially Mohammed, who helped with Uber taxi for local travel. The Uber driver rates are agreed in a chat - Mohammed helped me in deciding what's a normal rate. We also get packed breakfast during long trips. There is a separate restaurant for late dinners from 10:30pm - this was really helpful for late arrivals. The main soko buffet restaurant has wide variety of meal and dessert options. Each night has a themed dinner. Soko staff Sherif and the playful Mohammed Osama, looked after us very well. Our rooms are cleaned and beds made everyday by the hardworking staff. We even had a swan towel design laid out one day. We enjoyed archery - we are newbies and the staff taught us well. My son had a free 20 minutes tennis coaching - who was excellent. We enjoyed the heated outdoor pool. There are 8 pools! and different relaxing lounges in some. The bartenders come and get you free drinks. We enjoyed cocktails and coffee. None of the staff asked for any tips or money. If you say no to spa or other tours they don't bother you. Evening entertainment, darts, beach tennis, gym, snorkeling through water sports team by beach, shops within resort(overpriced but need to bargain hard) are other facilities we used. Beach also had well laid out beach beds and shelters. The only thing we found lacking was the lack of WiFi in the rooms. There was WiFi in the reception or by the beach/ beach bar only. Also the rooms could do with a socket near the dressing table for the Mrs. There is also an ATM near reception to withdraw Egyptian pound. The limit varies depending on the machine ~ 10000 LE per withdrawal Tip: We purchased eSim to access internet in the room/elsewhere.

Reception staff were all miserable but we managed to avoid them once we had checked in. 99% German guests. But still no problem for us as everyone was busy enjoying themselves. The staff walking around selling spa and photographs sessions start with free for all inclusive guests but then rip you off after as expected. Food was OK. What we expected with most things tasting the same but looking good. We all enjoyed everything but ventured out to try something a bit more tasty. The waiters were good and catered for everything we needed including hot sauce. However the management was pretty awful. 1 of the managers walked around on his phone and at 1 point told my playfully shouting child who was sitting in the kids area to be quiet? We found there was too many manager type staff and not enough people actually doing work. Room was good. Few bits that were broken outside like the steps leading out. No major issues. We had a great view and easy to find a spot for sun loungers by the pool. It was never busy so we had no issues. Waiter pool service was quite poor but we just walked to the bar and got drinks. No major issues. Overall we had a great time but clear differences between a 5 star luxury resort in Egypt and elsewhere for example turkey 🇹🇷. Maybe this is the Egyptian standard. Weather was great.

Everything in this hotel was amazing 🤩. We was not first time in Egypt but for sure this vacation was the best. Quality is so high. Everything is clean 100%, the room was great. The food in restaurant absolutely amazing also. We don't have nothing to complain. Also the activities in hotel is great. Everyone find something right for them. Animation team is nice and kind. We can recommend this place and we are looking for next time!

We really enjoyed our stay at Cleopatra. It’s our second time here and everything was perfect. We loved the hotel, the rooms we’re very big and cleaning was done every day. The gardens are very beautiful, well maintained and taken care of. The staff couldn’t be more friendly, everyone is smiling and are so much fun. From the entertainment team, to the staff at the restaurants and bars, everyone is so nice! We enjoyed the two dinners, especially at the Vista mare restaurant, we had a lot of fun with Mr Nozahy Saad, he really made our night. The shows from the amphitheater are great, we went every night and even participated to the contests. We loved the activities with the entertainment team, you can’t ever get bored because you have lots of fun options to spend your time. The hotel beach is chill, close to the bars and you can enjoy a beautiful reef just by the pontoon. As for the food, it’s plenty of variety for every taste and every day it’s a different themed dinner, with lots of tasty dishes. Also loved the desserts. Everything was fresh and delicious. We definitely recommend Cleopatra , every time we’ll come to Egypt we will come here, we loved everything about our stay here

We spent with my family 1 week at Cleopatra Luxury Resort Makadi Bay. It was fantastic. We've upgraded the room to family suite which was recently modernized and it was fantastic. The team workin on spot was really helpful and warm-hearted. We really enjoyed it, especially it was our first time in Egypt ever.

Fantastic first experience of travelling to Egypt and the Cleopatra resort was excellent. All the staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough to help. The rooms were a good size and standard and the cleanliness was excellent too with regular bedding and towel changes. We were fortunate enough to have a huge balcony/veranda too although a couple of sunbeds would have been a nice addition. The pools were very good and you had a good choice without struggling to get a sun lounger at any time which was great. We were not aware that there would be so few English guests as it seemed to be predominantly German. We had no problem with this, although it is sometimes good to have chat with other guests in the same language. The staff could all speak English too so there was never an issue. We had a few outstanding waiters, some in the restaurant (Akmed) and in a couple of the bars. Belal Elfatah was brilliant for the whole trip and he was mainly working the Vista bar, always welcomed us with a smile and chat. Abdu was in the lobby bar and again was super friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at the Cleopatra... thank you
