Feedback on My Stay at the Sheraton Hotel Room Experience The air conditioning was not functioning correctly. When set to heat, it emitted a smell of smoke and burning. On the cooling setting, it worked briefly before the external unit’s fan shut off for over an hour. The air conditioner produced excessive noise, making sleeping and enjoying the room hard. Some towels had an unpleasant odor resembling salty beach water. The TV appeared damaged, with visible white spots on the screen during light-colored displays. The bedsheets were torn. The bathroom speaker was defective, emitting noise when turned on. Numerous minor issues added to the discomfort. Overall Room Experience: Poor and unsatisfactory. --- Beach and Other Facilities The beach was clean and well-maintained. Bars were conveniently located throughout the area. Professional entertainment was available most evenings. Overall Facility Experience: Good. --- Food Experience The food variety was average. There was only one main restaurant serving all meals, while other dining options required additional fees or offered only snacks. Finding a table often took 10 minutes or more. Plates were sometimes unavailable, requiring 5–10 minutes of waiting. Overall Food Experience: Disappointing for a 5-star hotel under the Sheraton brand. --- Service Experience Despite lodging multiple complaints, the staff only cleaned the room after a 6-hour delay. The hotel claimed no rooms were available for a transfer, which seems implausible for a hotel of this caliber. Around 90% of the staff were rude, appearing reluctant to assist. As Egyptian guests, we frequently experienced delays, such as waiting 10 minutes for someone to take our order or bring a drink. On several occasions, orders were taken but never delivered. There appeared to be a noticeable bias toward foreign guests, who received more attentive service. Overall Service Experience: Inferior, with unprofessional behavior and a lack of respect for local guests. --- Conclusion My stay at Sheraton was a waste of money and time. The overall experience failed to meet the standards of a 5-star hotel, and I will not be returning. In the future, I will choose other hotels that value and respect their Egyptian guests.
