I had a nice stay at Casa Nemo. The bungalows have beautiful views and excellent hammocks for lounging. They have lock boxes, fans, fridges, as well as a water dispenser for purified hot or cold water. The massages are wonderful, and the staff goes out of their way to be helpful. My only recommendation would be to put doors on the stairs leading up to the bottom bungalows. That way no one accidentally gets to wander onto someone else’s porch, and guests could leave the doors open at night to get a breeze. Here are a few “pro tips” that will hopefully make your stay excellent: - When booking, check to see if they have any events or large groups scheduled. Otherwise the restaurant access may be limited, or you may be listening to loud music all night. - If you have snorkeling gear, bring it. The hotel can organize them for a daily fee, but the equipment may be of variable state. - Get the day and night managers’ What’sApp numbers. There are no phones in the bungalows, so if something happens or you need anything your only choice is to run up five flights of stairs. - The restaurant has beer if you ask. For all other cocktail options head down the beach to Freddie’s. - Ask for beach towels. - If you have an outdoor bathroom (which I personally love), be prepared for it to be covered in leaves on windy days or for it to rain in. Bungalows do not get cleaned daily, but I presume they would send someone if you asked. - The mosquito nets don’t quite cover the bed. If you’re prone to getting bitten, bring your own. - There is excellent Wi-Fi at the restaurant but not in the bungalows. Prepare accordingly or choose lodging close to the restaurant.
