Nice location but too noisy at the hallway

Hotel was unassuming yet served its purpose. A/C was properly working, shower pressure was strong, TV also functional. I was able to boil some herbal tea in the provided electric kettle which I planned to store for further use. However, refrigerator wasn’t working. Walls were also thin and noise can be heard from the hallways. Apart from that, being a budget hotel, it was reasonable for a short stay.

At checkin, we had to ask to exchange to the room we booked. Walls are thin, our room next to cleaning staff rest area. Very noisy. Late at night and early in the morning at 7am, they knocked on our door asking to “check water heater “. I told them nothing was wrong with it, but knocked again an hour later. It was very scary, as if they wanted to get into our room.
Front desk apologized but did not have an explanation of why the water heater needed to be checked. Will not stay again.

The staff provided exceptional service during my 3-day and 2-night stay, however, the showers were not well maintained and were in need of cleaning.

The room is quite clean and the location of the hotel is quite good, near the SM city shopping mall.
