The property was understaffed. Meals were prepared in about an hour, and mostly inconvenient, pool side orders provided one waiter servicing the outdoor restaurant, pool bar, pool side and beach. You had to walk to the bar or cook to place an order. Also, one waiter meant food remained poolside for birds, stray cats and dogs to enjoy. The room service menu was limited and the food selections were juvenile (frozen nuggets,fries, bland nachos). The resort allowed only 1 beach towel person, so no laying out AND drying off with a different clean towel. No early check-in and a fee for any late check out. No face towels or bath towels provided, only dry towels in room. The “super king” room is actually 2 queen beds side by side, with the mattresses touching and 2 separate linens, so bedding super awkward and uncomfortable. Jacuzzi controls were hidden in a box, and the next door Gardner/Maintenance worker had to tell Beló guests how to power it on (well, the one that actually worked). Also,
hope that the one waiter notices you’re trying to open an outdoor umbrella else you won’t be able to relax underneath one, they remove the handles so guests can’t use them. Only one functioning elevator.
