Istanbul Hotel&Guesthouse

My husband and I arrived in Istanbul in the early parts of the morning and the host was kind enough to offer us an early check in. He was friendly and welcoming, and the area was extremely central with easy access to all major attractions as well as the tram. However, a major downside is the cleanliness. The shower drainage system is poor, the bedding didn’t feel clean and there was trash in the bathroom cabinet. The place itself was stuffy but at least the AC worked. If they end up improving the cleanliness of this place it would actually be perfect given the budget and location.

千萬不要被谷歌地圖給欺騙了，因為你就找不到那個招牌。位置一流，就在藍色清真寺🕌️旁邊，周圍氣氛很好，適合開🪜。如果有強迫症的千萬不要住那裡，凌晨兩點前熱鬧的根本睡不着，除此沒毛病。以前是包含早餐的，現在取消了。而且現場訂房比網上價格便宜20%

Wow !! This place is the worst place I've ever been to in my life !! And I'm 64 years old!! From getting dropped off outside the place my heart sunk !! . Going into the small reception area I was guessing it wasn't looking good . After a 10 minute or more wait the reception person turns up karim , not the most presentable person we have ever come across . Asked him which floor we were on . Asked if we could have his best room with a good view . Told us room 305 on the 3rd floor would be suitable . So was given the key and directed to the very small tight spiral staircase . We struggled up these stairs with one small suitcase each and a back pack . My partner is 69 she was offered no assistance . Well when we got to the landing and found the entrance . Very narrow with 2 old wardrobe doors against the wall . We entered the room !! .massive disappointment!!! The smell was unbelievable.. Real bad on first thought it was how small and grubby it looked . Cramed in there was a double bed wedged up to the far wall at the bottom of that a single bed . The room was long and narrow . A small wardrobe on on the left hand side .... with no doors on ,they were on the landing !! The far end was the wc and shower really grubby and dirty . The shower tray around the bottom of the doors and tiles were just black really grubby !! Going up the other end to look at the bedding pillows etc on the double bed , we'll im a builder and stayed in some places working away in my time . But nothing like this !! The wall on the righthand side were the bed was wedged in was filthy . There was a very dirty net at the back of the bed covering the small patio door that once you opened hit the bedhead and wouldn't close till you pushed the headboard over . This point we are so upset ... oh I'm forgetting . Tv wouldn't come on and was the same with the air con . At this point I said to my partner we need to get out of here and go look round see what else is available. We had made are minds up straight away we couldnt stop there . Before we went out we climbed the stairs to the roof terrace !! What a disappointment that was dirty . Decrepit furniture past its sell by date really grubby . Not a place to sit and relax at all . So as you can guess we moved on to a lovely place more suited to are needs . I'm sorry but I wouldn't pay £5 per night to stay here even if I was single and traveling !! Please avoid this place in our opinion it was disgusting!!!
