Nice hotel. Staff were very friendly.

Geweldige locatie. Letterlijk alles op een loop afstand. Kamer prima in orde. Helaas de kamer is niet een keer schoongemaakt. Geen handdoeken of lakens gewisseld of de badkamer schoongemaakt. Echt jammer. Voor het ontbijt moesten naar een ander gebouw in een andere straat lopen. Ontbijt was prima en uitgebreid. Typisch Turkse ontbijt. Heerlijk.

The hotel is near to all the most important attractions in old Istanbul city. The people who work there are all very kind and professional. I suggest this place. The room was well furnished and clean.

Very friendly and helpful owner and staff. We had difficulties finding the place and was walking and asking a couple of times when suddenly the owner appeared in front of us. Apparently someone message him that we are looking for Emirhan. When we arrived he made coffee while finishing the registration paperwork. The owner also helped carrying one of our 10kg luggage while escorting us to the Guesthouse. He even helped carrying it when we checked out to our next stay which is 10 minutes walk. Our room was on the 5th floor by stairs only, but it was worth it. The room is very spacious, with coffee making facility, refrigerator and a microwave. Bathroom with hot water shower. Water pressure is very good. Bed was comfortable. Aircon was cold. Many windows, with one side overlooking the ocean at a distance. The balcony is also spacious and overlooking the ocean as well. Door lock looked strong and secure. There's an electronic remote to open the main door to the house so we have a 24h access. The location is a 10 minutes walk from Sultanahmet, a bit downhill. A small supermarket is within 5 minutes distance. A few choice of restaurants are available in the vicinity, with lower prices compared to those in Sultanahmet.

the apar**ent was of an exceptional property. it is very well located, very close to all the places to visit. the owner was very courteous and helpful. my family and I had a great time. we were taken care of from our arrival until our return. thank you for your welcome

Emirhan Hotel was a great place for us to stay and explore the biggest attractions of Istanbul by foot. A short easy walk takes you to the Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque and Bazaars. A short taxi will take you to Taksim and you can walk back in a bout 45 minutes. The 24 hour reception was very helpful with any requests we had and for arranging taxis to the airport. Although breakfast is not provided, you are centrally located to many choices to grab a bite. We highly recommend and will be staying here again.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Excellent value for money. House keeping was friendly and always available. Laundry and transfers also available for extra charge.

My family and I recently stayed at the Emirhan Guesthouse for six days and had an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the manager, Zaffar, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. He was incredibly helpful, always ready to assist us with any inquiries or requests. Zaffar even helped us carry water from the supermarket, which was greatly appreciated. The guesthouse itself was spotlessly clean and tidy. Upon arrival, we found some essential items already stocked in the apar**ent, including tea, coffee, shampoo, and fairy liquid. This considerate touch made settling in much easier for us. The location of the guesthouse was ideal, with its proximity to numerous restaurants, shops, and the Blue Mosque. Despite being in a central area, it was surprisingly peaceful, as it was tucked away from the main road, ensuring no bothersome road noise. However, do keep in mind that being close to a mosque means you will hear the call to prayer, which adds to the authentic Istanbul experience. While exploring the old town, we discovered that there are some steep roads leading to the tourist attractions. However, they were manageable even for my 77-year-old father, who made the climb up to the Blue Mosque three times. So, don't let the terrain deter you if you have low levels of fitness or mobility. I would recommend having breakfast on the rooftop of the nearby MyTerrace restaurant. The breathtaking views of the sea and the old town from there are simply unforgettable. Although it may be a bit pricey, the experience is well worth it. Overall, our stay at Emirhan Guesthouse was exceptional. The attentive and helpful staff, cleanliness, and convenient location made it a memorable experience. I highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone visiting Istanbul! Note, this hotel has two buildings within 100 metres of one another. Although you book via the same link, my review is for the building they call Emirhan Guesthouse and not Emirhan Inn. As we booked a 3-bedroom apar**ent, I'm presuming that's the reason why we were hosted in the other building.
