We visited a number of distinguished southern mansions on our trip to the Deep South, but few offered the opportunity for a sleepover like the Fairview Inn. Our room was located in a modern annex, which was conveniently linked to the historic mansion. The annex has been added quite sensitively, providing plenty of rooms without impacting upon the historic grandeur of the original mansion. Our room was unrestrained in its Classical styling, although the effect was more Caesar’s Palace than Colonial revival. Still, the room was very large, clean and in good condition and we came to quite enjoy the over-the-top décor. The Inn has an excellent bar and restaurant, with a relaxed and convivial a**osphere. We didn’t encounter any better options in Jackson and, in any event, why travel when you have such a lovely place to dine just steps from your room? The Inn is located in a very pleasant residential area, with easy access to the attractions of Jackson.

Well let me tell you this was a sheer delight. Beautiful building, lovely room, competent and friendly staff. Good bar and food, not to mention the garden. A real little gem of a hotel and such amazing value. I would highly recommend a stay here

This is one of the finest hotels we have ever stayed in. The suite was huge, the restaurant excellent, and the staff bent over backward to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Couldn’t be better.

I have stayed at the Fairview Inn several times this year while visiting family in Jackson. It's a beautiful place, with a delicious hot breakfast and friendly staff. All the rooms are spacious and lovely, furnished with antiques and with every amenity you'll need.

The Fairview Inn never disappoints and is absolutely one of my favorite places to stay! The attention to detail in every aspect of this inn is top notch. If I were to list details, the list would be endless. Over the past 17 years, I have stayed numerous times and every single time has been memorable and perfect!

Stunningly beautiful, historic hotel, surrounded by well-maintained detailed gardens. Meticulous attention to detail, with period pieces throughout. The room was huge, beautifully-appointed, with a large bathroom. We especially loved the two completely separate sink areas, plus the two-person whirlpool. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Easily one of the best stays we've ever had

The Fairview Inn never disappoints! Not only is it beautifully appointed and sparkling clean, every detail is so thoughtful and intentional. Everything about staying here is always, without exception, on point.

Lovely Inn...room was charming and quaint, plenty of room and bathroom was large. The Library Lounge was a great place for before dinner drinks or just to hang out and order dinner. Staff was friendly and helpful...we wanted to play Trivia Tuesday but didn't realize until too late that it was in another room, we thought it would be in the lounge. Disappointed but now we know. Free full breakfast was fantastic, food was delicious and service was great. Another confusing issue was dinner reservations for 1903 Provisions and found out it was the same place as Library Lounge, we thought it was in the room beyond but was told no it was the lounge. Although there were people in the room beyond...not sure I understood. But the food was delicious, husband had double pork chop was so good, and I had the pasta delicious. Highly recommend and would stay in the future.
