Club Wyndham Bay Voyage Inn

We made a short move from Club Wyndham Long Warf in Newport across the Claiborne Pell Bridge to Wyndham Bay Voyage Inn in Jamestown. The major reason for the move was availability but it also opened up a new area to easy access. Frankly, this condo wasn't quite as nice - smaller with only a partial kitchen. On the other hand, it had a great restaurant (JB's on the Water) on site with great views, good food and reasonable (for the area) prices.

Well, I didn't even get to stay at the resort, so can't tell you what it's like. I booked a 1 bedroom suite for 2 nights through Extra Holidays and confirmed the reservation just last week, only to get a call 10 minutes ago from Jim saying there was a problem, and they have to relocate me. They offered 2 options, both just 5 miles away. But it's 10 miles away from the wedding we're going to, and neither option offers a 1 bedroom suite. Oh, and did I mention we are supposed to check in tomorrow! I AM FURIOUS!! I called the resort itself and spoke with Isabel, who explained they don't manage the reservations there (I think they're only done through 3-party platforms), and of course, they have no rooms available. Do yourself a favor, don't book a room at Bay Voyage or you risk not having a place to stay.

club Wyndham has beautiful views and is right across from the bay. I like the area to walk around too and its very easy to get to Narragansett and Newport.

We chose this hotel for proximity to Newport and really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful views of ocean and Newport from our very spacious 1 bedroom room. Staff was very friendly and even called up to our room after check in to make sure all was well. Nice bar/restaurant with outdoor seating and walking distance to make shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again!

My wife and I were very pleased with this resort. The staff were a grade A+ with regard to friendliness, helpfulness and professionalism. The resort is situated next to Narragansett Bay, with great views from the resort. The room was comfortable although the kitchen and refrigerator were small.

Our stay was great! Only complaint was the WiFi is not sufficient. If you wanted WiFi that was fast enough to stream YouTube, you have to pay extra. If you have children or teenagers with devices, or you're a remote worker, this is not a remote work friendly location. We had to hotspot from our phones for sufficient connection to work. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The main bedroom was a fantastic size (bigger than the living room), but sadly, no king-sized bed (which I would have expected) or any way to cook food besides a microwave. Otherwise, the location is beautiful and well positioned close to Newport.

Despite having a room on the street side we were not disappointed as we only slept in it and did have small breakfasts with the convenience of toaster, microwave and refrigerator. There are many restaurant options within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful-shoutout to Isabel and the Supervisor!

Typical hotel suite. Good view of harbor. However, heating units pushed cold air into the rooms, one made noises all night. Walls are paper-thin with no insulation. Kitchen area needs more shelf space. There needs to be instruction on how to operate cable tv.

Breathing location, cleanliness and a great service personnel makes staying at this resort a dream come true to visitors. I highly recommend staying here for folks that are looking for a quiet getaway.
