Litov Hotel - A Religious Boutique Hotel

I booked Li Tov for a family get together right after the holidays. At first things were great, I negotiated costs, menus and details of the stay with Tilah who seemed to have been very helpful. I arranged this trip to host roughly 65 people as a family get together. We chose this hotel as it held a very strict and particular kashrut which aledgetly was up to a standard.  Upon check-in it all literally changed dramatically. I arrived about two hours prior to the first family member arriving. I was met with a damp and musty smell in the lobby, only to notice a massive leak that seems to have been there for months. There to greet us was Bentzi who barely acknowledged us, let alone made eye contact with us. Working off of a hard copy printout he handed us some keys. As my guest started arriving, there was zero help, zero direction and an absolute complete lack of care on Benzti's part. Not once did he offer to help us with bags, directions to the rooms etc. (I will acknowledge my standards are somewhat higher as I own several hotels and are accustomed to a level of service) here, there was none, not one ounce. Benztis theme of not wanting to bother stayed consistent with the remainder of the stay. Each and every time I, my guests would ask for help, they were met with a 'deer in the headlights" Benzti.  Friday night on our return from Kotel, we arrived at the dining room filled with other guests (we agreed to a private space/room) and not enough space for our party. While I will be fair to note, I was off by a total of three guests, there were 19 shorts to accommodate our party. Additionally, the staff did not put enough food aside for our party. Roughly one third of the party ate, the others filled up on hard challah rolls. This dispiate me tipping Abraham. The kitchen was filthy, not once in my many times in and out of the kitchen was there a frum mashgiach present. The rooms are dated and in desperate need of repair, shower drains don't drain, leaks, cigarate budds and trash all over, bloody solid bedsheets, no toilet paper, not enough beds. The list go's on. An absolute disgusting filth pot. When I begged Bentzi and Tilah for help I was met with zero feedback, they just stonewalled me. Saturday night on checkout, we tried to have a conversation to deal with what just transpired, Tilah did not pick up my calls or answer my messages and Benzti just started with a blank look.  Do yourself a favor, I paid just about 590 a night per night per room for 18 rooms. There is not a single aspect of the stay that I can compliment. For that price, save yourself the money, time, headache and in my case embarrassment. Go up the street to the Herbert Samuel or Ibis who all have strictly Kosher options (at a small upcharge). You will actually get service and help. They are very much accommodating, hungry for the business and care. 

We had a nice stay at Litov Hotel. The room was very small but clean and suited our needs (we only stayed one night). There is AC to use for heat however it was not very strong. We left it on on the strongest all afternoon and by the evening the room was warm. The reception desk staff were helpful and welcoming. For breakfast there was a nice variety food including salads, cheeses, hot food and bread and pastries. Overall a pleasant stay.

We stayed at the hotel recently for a family event. I had booked two suites for 13 people and we even reconfirmed our reservation three days before. But when we arrived, they did not have enough rooms for us! In the end, they cleaned a room and squeezed all of us in. But they forgot to register that we were in those rooms, and so the hotel staff simply opened the door to our room and walked in on us during our stay! In the suite, the door handles were broken (our bedroom didn't shut, we had to push a table up against it at night), one of the bathroom doors didn't shut, they forgot to stock the bathrooms with toilet paper, and the rooms were not clean - there were food wrappers under the furniture. Also, we were only given one key for a four bedroom suite (we had 8 people sleeping there) and they told us that they didn't have any more keys - so we should just leave the door unlocked. When we complained to the manager about all these things, he was not helpful. This hotel needs some serious renovation/fix-up work, and much better customer service! Biggest advantage of the hotel = the location.
