Flowers Inn

To start with, Shaxi is such a precious jewel. The historic preservation collaboration between ETH and Chinese scholars and the locals is impressive. The harmony formed by the nature and the man-made environment is incredible. We wish we had more time to stay and dive deeper. And we absolutely loved our stay at the Flower Inn. It’s really close to the core of the town yet very quiet and peaceful. The garden is meticulously cared for. The most special is an impressive 2-story library housing the owners’ personal book collections. They recently opened the library to the community a few days a week - a generous way to share knowledge and wisdom, and bring the community closer together. The owners are very warm, interested in making friends and sharing their experience. I really enjoyed an evening chat with them and listening to the stories about the town’s history, preservation, local lifestyles and much more. We would love to come back to Shaxi in the future and stay at the Flower Inn again.

一進房間就有很好聞的香薰味，有了很好的印象分。剛來的時候是對面的豆漿在門口迎接，後面兩天基本是金漸層跟藍白陪着在院子裏。後面從老闆娘姐姐口中得知名字，是幺幺跟寶寶。幺幺下午就睡在房間門口的躺椅上，寶寶喜歡在花園裡亂跑抓蝴蝶，後面發現幺幺會翻牆出去玩，會飛檐走壁，寶寶反而一直待在花園裡。花園很大，種了很多的多肉，還有一顆山楂樹，我很喜歡，長了很多的山楂果，厚着臉皮問阿姨摘了一顆，阿姨應該是老闆的母親，氣質很像，準備離開的時候還邀請我摘幾顆在路上吃。走之前吃上了老闆娘姐姐做的下午茶，麻薯果然很好吃。是我理想中的小院，有植物，有🌲，有🐟，有🐈，有很多的書。人生很長，希望我以後也能有屬於自己的小院。這兩年很浮躁，沙溪是為數不多能讓我感受到平靜的地方，也是得益於住了喜歡的房子。以後有機會的話，會再回來沙溪，回來這裏長住。下次再見，幺幺跟寶寶。

本次旅行最大的驚喜就是升房。店家安排住的莎士比亞，太開心啦！原本是在麗江住兩天的，臨出發改了一天住沙溪。為自己的決定點贊！沙溪太舒服了。民宿沒在主街，安靜舒服，主人把院子打理的井井有條。光是坐在院子裏都是享受！
