The hotel's location is fantastic, right next to the Confucius Temple. It's incredibly convenient for catching the gate-opening ceremony in the morning and the light show at night, making it perfect for sightseeing and a pleasant stay. The environment is elegant, with exquisite garden scenery, and the service is exceptionally thoughtful and meticulous. It would be even better if the breakfast offered more variety and higher quality.

Staying at your hotel in Qufu was a pleasant surprise! The entire hotel, from the lobby to the hallways, was very clean. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was good. The front desk staff and cleaning ladies were especially warm and attentive, even helping us with accommodation at Nishan. The breakfast had a great variety and tasted wonderful. If you're looking for a quiet hotel in Qufu, this place is definitely worth a stay.

They even helped us with our luggage all the way to the underground parking, which was incredibly thoughtful. We loved their service so much that we came back to stay again today!

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times, and each visit, I'm consistently impressed by the service, especially the incredibly efficient express check-out! There's absolutely no waiting when you leave; the process is streamlined and highly effective, saving you all the usual check-out hassle. The hotel's overall decor is simple yet elegant, with a clean and bright lobby. The rooms are well-designed with ample storage, and the hygiene standards are top-notch – every nook and cranny is spotless. The hot water supply is stable, and the internet speed is fast. It's perfectly suited for both tourists and short stays, offering excellent value for money and outstanding service!

This hotel is arguably the closest to the Confucius Temple. It's just a two or three-minute walk to the Wall of Ten Thousand Ren (Wanren Gongqiang). I managed to catch the closing ceremony in the evening, followed by the light show at night, and then the opening ceremony the next morning. The courtyard environment is beautiful, with little rabbits and cats, and lots of flowers and plants. The room itself was very spacious. I booked a twin room but actually got a two-story loft, with traditional large wooden doors – it was a really unique experience. The service was warm and attentive. They offered snacks and a gift upon check-in, and brought yogurt in the evening. Breakfast was generous with a good variety. I also had lunch here; both the Qilin Yushu and the stir-fried pork were delicious. They even gave me a ruler as a souvenir when I checked out, which I carried all the way home!

The room was fantastic, a cozy two-story layout with a balcony! We were able to experience the charm of Confucian culture up close (it's very close to the 'Three孔' scenic area). Our family excitedly discussed the Analects, believing that in such a quiet and harmonious environment, Confucius himself would surely feel our presence. The experience was unparalleled! We also felt the meticulous and thoughtful assistance from Marriott's front desk staff, Xiao Qian and Xiao Hong, who are from the birthplace of Confucianism. They helped me mail documents and even sent back my child's pants that were left behind after we checked out! I'm not sure if 'Marriott' (万豪) derives its '万' from the 'wan ren gong qiang' (万仞宫墙 - ten-thousand-foot palace wall) and its '豪' from the 'hao jie' (豪杰 - heroes) who have bowed down for centuries, but I do know that 'green hair' (绿发 - *possibly a playful or inside reference, hard to translate directly without context, so kept as is*) hides the promise of our family's next spontaneous journey!

I had a wonderful stay at Shangri-La Qufu. The hotel is elegant, very clean, and what impressed me the most was its beautiful traditional Chinese-style design, which perfectly matches the cultural atmosphere of Qufu. All of the staff were professional, welcoming, and provided excellent service throughout my stay. Their kindness and attention to detail made me feel very comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding, with a great variety of high-quality food. I would rate it 9.5 out of 10. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Qufu, and I would be happy to stay here again.
