The Rohet House

The hotel is a restored villa furnished with taste and a sense of luxury. It is a perfect place to rest during a vacation as a couple since the hotel is small and children are not preferred. The staff is discreet while easily available when required. The extra services offered are however over priced (city tour, lunch/dinner) Overall a great experience during our 4 days in Jaipur.

I had an absolutely delightful experience during my stay at Rohet House in Jodhpur. The property's fusion of contemporary design with traditional art was a sight to behold, creating a unique and charming atmosphere that set it apart from other hotels. The staff's warm hospitality and attention to detail truly made me feel special. The height of luxury was evident in every aspect of the property, from the elegant decor to the top-notch amenities. One of the highlights of my stay was the delectable food. The culinary delights served at Rohet House were a treat for the senses, offering a perfect blend of traditional Rajasthani flavors and modern twists. The serene surroundings and well-maintained gardens provided a serene escape, making it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring Jodhpur's vibrant city. I would highly recommend Rohet House to anyone seeking a unique and luxurious experience in Jodhpur. It truly exceeded my expectations and left me with lasting memories of a wonderful trip

We had planned to go for the riff music festival to jodhpur in october but due to unforeseen health issues couldn’t make it then. We requested them for a credit note and they were very kind to give us a 3 month extension. We went in november and had an amazing stay at rohet house and rohetgarh and also visited mihirgarh. All the properties of house of rohet are very well designed and maintained. Hospitality and food are par excellence. The breakfast at rohet house was sumptuous and special mention to praduman who was ever so helpful and willing to assist in all our bookings, reservations, etc. Have already suggested to many friends and will most happily return soon.

So we stopped by the hotel to check it out since we had stayed in Mihir Garh which is owned by the same family. We wanted to just see it because I remembered seeing it online but couldn’t remember why I did not book it. So we stopped by when we were going for dinner and it was also very close to where we were staying and my wife and kids really liked it at once. We had one day in Jodhpur when we were going to stay the day before departing. Before we could book it, the manager had to call the owners son to check if he knew of us since we had stayed at Mihir Garh. Upon asking him why he needed to make so many calls for a booking, he said that the hotel had a no child policy (which is why I had not booked it before). Since we had stayed with their other hotel they allowed us to book a room here. So we decided to book a room there instead of staying at Club Mahindra Jodhpur. They had shown us the double bedroom but considering we had kids, they asked us to book a suite which we did without seeing it. The family has converted a bungalow of theirs into this hotel and have kept a certain portion for themselves which they probably use even now. The hotel has only 8 rooms or houses as they like to call them. Upon checking in to the room, we were pleasantly surprised because the suite was huge. The bathroom actually has a small passage in it. It is designed tastefully, the bed, beddings and sofas were really really comfortable. The only downside was the fact that they gave us a extra mattress instead of an extra bed. However, the overall experience of the suite was simply too good for that to get in the way. The mattress itself was very confortable so as not to lead to any aches or pains. The biggest problem we found with the hotel was that they have a very fixed and limited menu which isn’t to everyone’s tastes. Surprising because Mihir Garh despite being a remote location had a much bigger and better menu. Also, you have to inform them 1-1.5 hours before what you’re going to eat. In a city like Jodhpur that should definitely not be the case. Since we did not find the menu appealing and appetising enough for us, we ended up going outside for dinner. The breakfast however, was really sumptuous and more than made up for the dinner shortcomings. They make pretty much whatever you want and it was really tasty. All in all, I wish they did not have the no child policy and wish we could’ve stayed longer, much longer than just a day.

From the moment my friends and I entered to when we left - we were looked after so well and made to feel extremely comfortable. The walls are adorned with the most exquisite murals, that make spending time outside the room as enriching as the room is soothing to sleep in. Each themed room, painting and picture has a story. I would definitely recommend the thalis at their restaurant for lunch - I could not get enough of the lal maas and helped myself to two servings of each dish on the plate. The dessert was the highlight - a simple and salivating combination of gulab jamun and ice cream. The staff was incredible - they made us feel so at ease and catered to all our needs. They even gave us a comprehensive itinerary of all the historic street food spots around the city for us to visit. At night the property was tranquil, and a pleasure to walk around. The check out experience was also incredibly smooth and I cannot recommend this place enough.

Discovered through Smith Hotels, this boutique gem is a the perfect retreat when visiting Jodhpur. A former family residence, the Resident Manager Praduman Singh was especially helpful settling in at the hotel, arranging lunch, and helping with a tuk tuk tour of the city. Lunch was delicious and exceptional service from the waiter and chef. Highly recommended!

Absolutely brilliant! What a fabulous stay, the most comfortable bedroom we’ve had in all our stay in India! Spacious bedroom and beautiful shared living area. Wonderful accomodating staff who went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing stay, brilliant stay and highly recommend.

A Hidden gem in every possible way ,,, warm & welcoming staff ,,, beautiful decor aesthetically pleasing ,,, suites are spacious and tastefully done ,,, service was 10/10 ,,, overall a memorable & unforgettable experience !!! A must visit

It’s definitely value for money. Secluded, small property with best of rooms, great food and savvy property managers.
