Ramada Suites by Wyndham the Straits Johor Bahru

I had a nice stay, very clean and cozy, they even gave me the room that i wanted hahaha will definitely book again thanks!

Our super short vacation were welcomed by the infestation of cockroaches roaming from the kitchen top, toilet and bed. And the stinks in the toilet. The staff said they will send room service to spray the pests away, but we do not accept this as we had babies with us. However, the staff managed to get us another room, which they intially said there were no more rooms available, but was surprised again with faulty aircon in the bedroom. Even after the technician came to rectify, the aircon was still not cold . At this point, as everyone were tired which is at 10-11pm, with babies, the family in the faulty aircon room decided to bunk in with the other room. When we informed the staff during checky out that we did not utilise the faulty aircon room, although they apologised, but there were no mention of refund till I bring it up to him, which he said will investigate the matter with the technician and management and will update us. By the way, we had booked total of 4 rooms but one of the room had not been utilised. We were frustated by this unforgettable experience.

I think there is a place of worship nearby because I could hear loud prayers. There was also the sound of drilling. In addition, you do not have to tap your card in the lift for you to access the level to the room you have been given. However, the options for dining nearby are plenty and the room was spacious for the promotional price of S$48.

Overall experience was decent. Rooms were clean. Simple yet cozy apartment. Security is something to improve in since the lift usage didn’t require one to tap the card to go up to the rooms.

Pros: - spacious apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms at affordable price - clean with complete basic amenities, additional request is a WhatsApp away - free parking for guests - nice pool - great view of Johor Bahru city and Singapore can be seen from the balcony Cons: - limited choice of breakfast - no strict access to other floors hence security at risk

Everything was good except no laundry bag. Other than that no problem

Big room but did not have toothbrush toothpaste provided in room

Thank you so much. We've had a great stay! Very clean and comfortable. The security, receptionist, houskeeping, and waitress.. all the staffs were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fine.

We arrived at 4pm for our 3pm check-in and was told we had to wait 1 hour 40 min before our room was ready. There was no compensation for this. Other than that the room was large and clean, basic amenities available.
