Hotel Golf Fontcaude

We came to this hotel late at night the rooms were boiling hot so we turned on the air-conditioning; the rooms got hotter and hotter even when we turned it full on to the lowest temperature the thermostat in the room suggested that the temperature in the room at night was 25 °c ; in the morning we were told that the air-conditioning only worked to warm the rooms at this time of the year but we were not advised of it so we did not sleep a wink. WiFi was available but at huge expense; the first 10 minutes are free and then you have to pay €€€ The Staff are very rude and unhelpful coming up and telling us that our children could not use the exercise equipment even there were no signs to state that is the case. KARIM one of the reception staff told his daughter who was eating with him in the restaurant which was closed as it was Sunday that he wanted to hit me I told him I would call the police when we came back down he had hidden his daughter in a back office At one point he told me to go back to my room I stated I was a paying guest and he was a receptionist and could not tell me what to do KARIM also denied that he could speak any English but spoke to us earlier clearly in English The staff also stated after our poor night's sleep we would get a free breakfast and a new member came up and told us that this was not the case having been told by the first member of staff that he could not leave his station! KARIM also told not to raise my voice but would not let me get a word in edgeways and explain the conversation we had had in the morning, he was one of the most rude people I have ever delt with! KARIM also called me " putanesque" a "*****" which is completely unacceptable in any circumstance! The toilet seat in our bedroom was broken. There was a thumb tack on the floor of my daughter's room which could have ended up in her foot! As you enter the hotel there is a trip hazard with a door stopper in the middle of the hall! The disabled parking is like a mountain range with the tarmac blistered and raised making it entirely unsuitable for a disabled person let alone an able bodied person, my husband tripped over it and it was very poorly illuminated.please see night time photos and day time photos attatched Please read other people's reviews which are on a similar vein.

Hello, so I must say something about my stay. It was during the same days as the clients with the previous comment. They were the rudest family I've ever seen and I 've had my share of hotels in my life. First of all our stay was good, personnel impeccable, the rooms are old but that's alright. Breakfast is good and have a lot of options. You have a great view if you take a room with view Golf. The family that left the comment were complaining that there is no AC but it's 6°C outside during the night so I don't see the need of AC but heater instead which was present and good. There is 2 parking spot for handicapped at the Hotel and they chose the one with roots underneath. Please refer to picture for this one, there is free WiFi and they give it to you at Check-in. Karim was his name was very helpful specially when the kids of that family were playing and making a lot of noises in the gym which is at the first floor of the Hotel. No need to say that after dark, having children playing without supervision in a gym is not okay. We called the desk because of the noise, so to that I say why does me, a paying customer have to endure that like they said. Plus they asked for a 30 to 50% discount on the nights and free breakfast for 5, and a refund for the night before, I couldn't believe my ears and this was before the gym incident. They were "doctors" apparently because they said to Karim, I'm a doctor and you're ONLY a receptionist, who speaks like that to an employee even if you're a paying customer ? Shame on them. They didn't like the first night BUT decided to stay a second night anyway, why ? And I'm no French expert but "putanesque" doesn't exist. PS: Thank you Karim for recommending restaurants near the Hotel.

Service and clean room and great bed

Aging hotel but nice staff. We ended up getting pizza delivered so we could eat on the terrace. The receptionist offered us napkins as we didn’t get from the delivery guy. He was a very nice tall guy. Maybe hôtel could be a bit cleaner. There is a funny odor in the hallway. Was perfect for a night. Easy to park. Easy to order pizza for a fast meal during our road trip.

Esta experiência foi razoável . O hotel já precisava de uma remodelação. O quarto não era agradável,mas a casa de banho vinha de lá um cheiro horrível,não percebi bem do que era mas tivemos que fechar a porta porque era muito desagradável. O pequeno almoço não era mau e o hotel é silencioso .

mon séjour golfique de 3jours selon le réseau GOLFY a connu quelques imprévus : problème de restauration, chasse aux sangliers (avec fermeture temporaire du golf et des infrastructures golfiques), ...malgré cela, le personnel a tout fait pour me rendre le séjour agréable, de beaux sourires à l'accueil, une propreté impeccable des chambres, des aides pour la restauration avec un service personnalisé, ...et j'ai pu profiter d'un beau parcours avec des greens très bien entretenus et des précieux conseils d'un très bon prof de golf en la personne de Jean Pierre Verselin. Donc un we parfait ! En revanche, j'ai vu des commentaires sur le défaut d'insonorisation et je peux valider qu'il faille éviter l'établissement en période de forte affluence car il est vrai que l'on peut entendre le moindre passage dans le couloir.

Un cadre jolie (Le golf parle de lui même), calme et apaisant. Un personnel accueillant, souriant et a l'écoute. J'ai mis 4 étoiles sur 5 pour les équipements de la chambre qui sont quelque fois marqué par les années mais qui ne justifie pas les commentaires volontairement négatif ! C'était un voyage d'affaire et nous y reviendrons plusieurs fois l'année prochaine pour plusieurs opérations professionnels VOLONTIERS ! PS : le bar lounge et le restaurant de l'hôtel sont très agréable 🍷

Après plus de 10 heures de route en moto de Valence à Montpellier, mon choix s'est porté sur l'hôtel sis à l'avenue des Hameaux du Golf... comment résister à un tel nom? J'ai pu bénéficier d'une belle chambre sur le Golf avec un petit balcon. Chambre confortable, lit moelleux, grande salle de bains, parfait pour l'homme fourbu que j'étais. Après une bonne nuit d'un sommeil réparateur, direction le petit déjeuner ! Là, énorme surprise avec un petit déjeuner rarement vu, avec toutes les céréales possibles, du lait de vache, mais aussi de brebis, des fromages en abondance, de la charcuterie à profusion, des fruits magnifiques avec une salade fruits en prime, des œufs, du lard, des saucisses, des yaourts, de la viennoiserie, en un mot tout pour me mettre en forme avec en prime des employés aux petits soins, aimables, prévenants un vrai bonheur! Nul doute que si je dois retourner dans cette région, je me ferai un plaisir de retourner dans ce bel endroit !

Location d'un Appart Hôtel pour 3 nuits au prix de 444€ - Taque de cuisson ancienne génération avec boutons sans chiffres, Frigidaire impossible à régler.. pas de bouton et porte compliquée à ouvrir , TV perd continuellement son signal, pas de possibilité de suivre une émission, chaises en acier sans coussins impossible de rester plus d'une demi heure attablé, Wifi très médiocre, Lampe de chevet à côté du lit impossible de raccorder car prise derrière le lit .. literie très médiocre ..10 cm d'épaisseur qui tient vos forme directement la première nuit.. impossible de laver les ustensiles de cuisine, pas de savon, pas d'éponge, pas de torchon .. et le personnel ne fait pas la vaisselle !! pas de places de parking réservées pour les résident de l'hôtel a lors que la compétition regroupait 29 équipes de minimum 5 joueurs ...
