Devon Rest

We had a wonderful stay at the Devon Rest for one night. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, with a beautiful view of the lake, making it a very inviting space. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, but I must especially commend Ms. Niroshika at the front desk. From the moment I made the reservation to our departure, she went above and beyond with her courteous and attentive assistance, truly enhancing our experience. The breakfast was also excellent. It is clear that their dedication to guest satisfaction will undoubtedly encourage repeat visits and contribute to the success of the hotel.

I truly recommend this place that possesses a spectacular view and warm hospitality. I caught this place from TripAdvisor and I was delighted with the first phone call which I made to check the availability. He was a really nice guy but um really sorry I couldn't get his name properly. I was very excited to step into Devon rest since that was the coolest room reservation, I have ever made. Once we stepped into Devon, we were truly delighted with the view and their warm welcome. As we arrived there after a long train journey with my one year old baby, they were allowed to check in early. Devon is walking distance to all the other important landmarks (Temple of Tooth Relic, KCC, Cargills food city, Railway station) too. The room was spacious with nice amenities and super comfy bed and pillows. The room and bathroom were clean. We got a lake view room upon our request and I really appreciate the staff since they are very friendly and always there to support. Our favourite dish was Sri Lankan rice and curry and all the food we had there was mouthwatering. My one year old baby was also had their Sri Lankan rice and curry and they didn't think twice to customize the curries as we wanted. Shashitha and Rathnasiri, thank you very much for the support you guys gave thorough out our stay at Devon. You both were simply amazing and we really appreciate you both since your hospitality is exceptional. Though we have visited many five star hotels in Sri Lanka, I would like to say that this is the warmest welcome and hospitality we ever received.

We went to the restaurant for a birthday celebration and the service was really good, they helped us arrange the suprise and was very friendly. The atmosphere is very ambient with a 10/10 view of the Kandy lake. The food was really delicious too. Overall a perfect spot, will definitely come again!

Staff is very helpful and friendly specifically chef Sandeepa, restaurant supervisor Mr Kalum and the restaurant staff Sandaru and Nirvan. Food is really good and taste also enjoyed a lot. Very calm place with nice view of Kandy lake. Atmosphere is absolutly amazing

The food was delicious. The service was amazing and the staff were expert helpful and welcoming. Special thanks to chef Janidu and our host M. Ram. The restaurant well neat and clean and the view was awesome. The location of the restaurant in the middle of candy city with an amazing lake view.
