Rich Melissa Hotel

-Rude staff -They are easily irritated by children -WiFi only works at the reception of the hotel and you have to pay for each day you use the wifi, does not work in rooms - The hot water worked about twice throughout my entire stay, I made many complaints about this not much was done

Me & my Fiance went on our first holiday together here, we’re both in our early 20’s and wanted a cheap holiday to start us off as we wanted to do a lot of activities rather than stay in the hotel. We did still spend a lot of time in the hotel and it wasn’t luxury but you get what you pay for, the food isn’t brilliant but I’m a very picky eater and I was vegetarian at the time! However, eating out is not expensive at all, we could get a meal for 2 for under £10. The staff were lovely & friendly, always happy to help, there was one member of staff that didn’t speak a lot of English at all and couldn’t understand me but pulled up a translator on his phone and took the time to try and understand what I was saying and we had a lovely conversation! I personally thought this was very thoughtful and did show that they are doing their job! I did however have an incident when I was in my room unclothed and a random man unlocked my door and walked in! Even with the do not disturb sign on. He was there to put the door on the shower as we didn’t have one but I was not informed that this was going to be done, if I was I would’ve had clothes on or gone out, I spoke to the hotel manager about this and he spoke very fluent English but couldn’t understand why I was so angry, he did listen to me though and understood eventually and apologised so I appreciated that. There is absolutely loads to do outside of the hotel! The beach is about a 10 minute walk away, on the way to the beach there is absolutely loads of shops to browse through, the beach do lovely food & drinks! The only bad thing I would say about this hotel is it’s not very suitable for children, there is only one slide that is quite fast so not very good for young children however there is a small children’s pool but they are the only child friendly activities. It is not a luxury holiday but like I said, you get what you pay for & me and Fiance did enjoy it!

If you are British or Irish avoid ! Very basic hotel that is full with rude, arrogant Russians. You will not feel welcome. There is a mosque close by - expect a call to prayer at 4.30 am followed by 5 mire throughout the day. Food is terrible and so are the drinks. Restaurant staff watch over every move you make. Internet (£2 per day) is poor and constantly gets switched off. Pool area becomes shaded early in the afternoon and has approx 25 sunbeds for the whole hotel. Cats wander in and out of the Restaurant and will climb up begging food. Unless you get this for a bargain price - AVOID

I’m not quite sure about all the bad reviews as I went back in August and had a great time rooms were cleaned everyday the food was delicious and the only problem was the man who tried getting me to go down to the spa but other then that it’s a really good hotel I would suggest you go with your kids or your partner as it’s great fun for all

We are all gobsmacked at what we walked into front desk staff looked like they had something stuck up there behinds the looks we got when they asked were we were from internet stated free however it was £2.00 a day and kept being turned off food was discusting no selection repetitive every day chairs and tables filthy cleaning staff entered our rooms daily not to clean but to steal off us beds were not changed throughout stay and no toilet roll in bathroom whilst showering twice electric went off leaving me to have a shower in the dark no apology or anything whilst on terrace as only handful of tables and chairs we had a complaint about noice at 10/30 at night all we were doing was making our own entertainment as there was none even though when booking stated there was supposed to be mini bar in room but every other guest was given at least one big bottle of water English we’re left out ate out every day costing us our spends only 3 alcoholic drinks on all inclusive list no fresh juice coffee machine was always empty and lift broke down several times had to walk up several flights of stairs with illnesses that prevent me from doing so without being in pain also staff would chat to others and walk past us no fresh towels had to use our beach towels would not come here again even if I won it on a competition very very poor hotel needs hygiene and cleanliness looking at

Lovely hotel and wonderful staff, the hotel is clean and food good and very central to Kemer. Good atmosphere and wonderful 2 weeks away. If you are willing to embrace the beautiful turkish food, this hotel is great and we had a grat holiday.

This hotel is absolutely awful rooms nit cleaned, food is horrendous shocking selection nothing for kids I have a 2 year old and he couldn't eat anything he was so so poorly we thought we was going to have to ring an ambulance we tried to eat the food it made us all so ill so we couldn't go out hardly we had to eat out when we was better and even then wasn't the best until we found one specific restaurant 30,40 mins in town who did English menu and catered for us properly however that was on our last evening and we was there for 7 days! The men in hotel really wouldn't leave My girls alone one 14 one 19 and it was non stop more the 19 year old even out in town at one point we had to hide her on the other side of the town to get back to the hotel as there was people waiting right by the shop next to hotel for her 6 of them! My 14 year old asked for lemonade and got pestered and encouraged nin stop to had vodka! There is no British can tell it caters for everyone but the British so I don't see why you'd advertise such a place that's unsafe to so many especially your KIDS! there is 0 entertainment or entertainment staffs that's a lie! Free WiFi is a lie you have to pay! Everything that is advertised is false! We didn't enjoy ourselves spent every second on edge and we came in holiday to relax! Drinks are limited all inclusive options are not there at all I'd honestly book anywhere but here and just can't stress that enough! There was fights and people being arrested music every night till 1 in morning non stop which I don't mind but we all had 2 hours sleep at most and we had to sleep with a chair under our door handle because we feared for our own safety which isn't on at all! I tried to get an earlier flight and couldn't at all! Stay away from umut he is a complete rip off and robs you blind he says anything you want to hear so you feel pressured! The massage man also dtay away at all costs specially children he wouldn't speak to us adults just the children and he told my 19 year old he would show her First how its done we give him 30 euro to keep him away and he still didn't stop then asked us all if we would keep my 19 year old in turkey for him and he will fly her out next week back home which would NEVER happen! Honestly there is so so much more please do not waste your money there is a ********** that walks around the pool while kids are there! And we got told the hotel is owed by the Turkish mafia which put us even more on edge!!! I will be seeking further advice and guidance to get this changed so no one has the same experience we do!

My experience at Melissa Residence Hotel was nothing short of a nightmare. From the very moment we arrived, it was evident that this was going to be a stay we would regret. First, upon our arrival, we were informed that our reserved room was unavailable, and they had conveniently sent us off to another hotel with a room that resembled something out of a horror movie. Melissa Residence Hotel boldly advertised "Free Wifi" on their website, but when we tried to access it we were asked to pay, When we complained, the receptionist just said "it's not my prblem", and when we did pay for the Wifi, it barely worked. The manager was very rude and blamed our iPhones for their bad internet. The room we stayed in was disgusting. It seemed like they never cleaned it during our five-day stay. The food and drinks at Melissa Residence Hotel were awful. The drinks tasted terrible, and the food was almost impossible to eat. The hotel staff were also terrible. They were not helpful and were very very rude. Every time we talked to them, it was a bad experience. In summary, there is not a single redeeming quality about Melissa Residence Hotel. It is a place to AVOID.

So not what I expected, not one English person! WiFi is not free and very expensive. Rude guest and hotel staff. The food while it isn't great is fine. The room we were in was right by the bar and the guest made huge amount of noise and continued to clap and cheer until after 01.00 am and with kids it isn't great. The beach is far away and the bus you catch is not ventilated and old and over packed. Not a good experience and honestly will never come back to kemer.
