Comfort Inn & Suites New Orleans Airport North

Check in was easy and staff was friendly. The hotel is only a 5 min drive from the airport. They have a shuttle that goes to/from the airport every hour. You will need to call or email after booking to get the shuttle times if you plan to use it.

Not happy that there was no airport shuttle. Also there was no plug for bathroom tub. Was given a wash cloth and told that should hold it.

Property was clean and staff was accommodating. Ice machines on the floors were out of order as the shuttle to the airport. Planes fly directly over hotel. Inexpensive to spend one night before/after a cruise.

The property usually has a shuttle to the airport but on this visit it was in the shop and there was no back up option for transportation to the airport provided. So you had to use expensive Uber or taxi or pay increased parking at the airport

Property was beautifully renovated and staff very helpful. The breakfast offering was very good and a snack purchase area was available but pricey. Unfortunately the bar/restaurant and shuttle service to airport were shut down and we would’ve booked elsewhere if we had known.

BUYER BEWARE!! If you are booking this hotel because of the 24hour airport shuttle you will be VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! **It does NOT exist!! If I could underline that I would!! We were told that the shuttle would be down for two weeks at check-in & that they share the shuttle with the neighboring Holiday Inn. She asked if we wanted to cancel our reservation which of course we couldn’t as we had booked through Orbitz. We then called the Holiday Inn down the road that the check-in person stated they shared the shuttle with and were informed that they indeed have a working airport shuttle.and to his knowledge didn’t share with this establishment. On another note there appears to be mold in above shower head on the ceiling, room 315!! Management may want to remove and bleach that. No worries I took a photo for you!!

The staff was not friendly at all. We called ahead to confirm airport shuttle service as we would be arriving after midnight. We specifically booked this hotel due to the shuttle. When we called for the shuttle, we were told it was not available. The staff was not friendly or offering of any help. In the morning, the manager was not there until a half hour after scheduled check-out... convenient right? I was told the shuttle was "not safe" by the still unfriendly staff member at the desk. There was zero help or making it correct for their disservice. Customer service and making a situation right is something this company needs to work on, coming from someone else who works in a similar industry.

I paid extra for them drop me off and pick me up from the airport. Call to let them know I'm back at the airport and Maria told me the bus broke and I have to find my own way back to my car after I already paid them. So I had to pay for a tax back to the hotel.

Have stayed at his property before, but on this occasion was very disappointed with the check in procedure. Arrived at the hotel after a tiring 10 hour flight from theUK only to find that a twin bedded room I had booked last May was not available. After waiting in reception for over 20 minutes a room of the type booked was eventually found.
