Lido Corfu Sun Hotel 4 Stars All-Inclusive

Έμεινα εδώ για μια εβδομάδα σε πακέτο all inclusive. Το δωμάτιό μου ήταν καλό μέγεθος και η θέα στη θάλασσα ήταν εκπληκτική. Το προσωπικό ήταν πολύ εξυπηρετικό, ειδικά με τις τροφικές μου αλλεργίες. Η ιδιωτική παραλία ήταν μεγάλη και ακόμη και όταν το ξενοδοχείο ήταν γεμάτο, υπήρχε πάντα χώρος στην πισίνα/παραλία. Το ξενοδοχείο βρίσκεται στον κεντρικό δρόμο και έχει στάσεις για την πόλη και τα πράσινα λεωφορεία, πολύ εύκολο να μετακινηθείτε στο νησί. Επίσης, μπορείτε να περπατήσετε στις Μπενίτσες εύκολα σε 20 λεπτά. περιοχή βελτιώσεων: το ντους ήταν τόσο μικρό, ήταν δύσκολο να μετακινηθείς. Το WIFI είναι πολύ κακό, αυτό πρέπει πραγματικά να αλλάξει. Επίσης: αν ταξιδεύετε μόνοι σας και δεν είστε Πολωνοί ή Γάλλοι, τότε είναι λίγο δύσκολο να συνδεθείτε με άλλους επισκέπτες..

Unfortunately even though the staff were very friendly and most of them helpful it had quite a few down sides for instance you did'nt get ice cream in your AI package, you could not play pool in the afternoon because other guest's sleeping above the table, the beach area was very stoney and about 10 mins walk down a slope and one guest we heard about stood on a sea urchin and got spikes in his feet, the hotel staff would not take him to the doctor's which was only a 10 min bus journey in their free shuttle mini bus which I was shocked by ! There was not a lot of sun beds because it was quite a enclosed area and you got the sun one side in the morning and the other late afternoon, there was only two night's with entertainment the Greek dancer's on Sunday were great but the lady singer on Thursday was not very good heard better on a karaoke night in our local pub. The best thing about this place was the bar staff and the evening reception lady, also that you could get the local buses to Corfu Town and Messonghi which is defeintly worth a visit with many shops and taverns also the harbour in Benitses and corfu town is beautiful worth a visit especially the old fortress.

Overall we had a relaxing stay at lido corfu , the staff were very friendly, reception staff were very helpful in regards to local information and bus timetabling. The room and hotel in general had a lovely traditional feel with fresh sheets everyday and the maids making lovely arrangements with the towels. We stayed on the second floor with a veranda. The pool area was gorgeous, very quiet, no fighting for sunbeds, lovely cushioned sunbeds at that! One of the cleanest pools I have seen! However, the hotel is in a remote area and only has entertainment two nights of the week , one greek dancing night on Sunday and a band on Thursday, this means evenings at the hotel are quite boring and as we are a young couple we often took the hotels shuttle to the local town of geniuses for some drinks and more entertaining nightlife. Despite the hotel being in close proximity to this lovely town, the road to this is not paved and unlit at night, we walked back one evening and it was quite dangerous so no good for evening walks. The private "beach" is located on this dangerous road, its lovely when you're down there however quite a treacherous walk and very steep decline. Beach shoes. definitely needed for the water! Also, there was only two juice options at the beach and no other drinks choices despite a fully built bar area. Drinks overall I deem quite poor , very watered down spirits and many drinks have to be paid for , most disappointingly the cocktails as not even basic cocktails are part of the all inclusive. Me and my partner don't drink beer or wine therefore it was quite a waste of money. Food was average for an all-inclusive in my opinion, buffet-style, I enjoyed the moussaka and the desserts in particular. Probably the best desserts I've had at an all inclusive. We had a flight at midnight and had to check out at 11am, asked for a late checkout room and 150 euros was asked for to proceed with the room and all inclusive despite us not receiving any food the day we arrived, thankfully we were given a ticket for free dinner as I had emailed prior to ensure we weren't left with no food on the last day. Overall, I wouldn't return based on the all inclusive deal, entertainment and cost of extending the room. Not advised for young couples in my opinion.

We had an absolutely amazing time at lido corfu sun. The rooms were clean spotless, with great decor and crisp bed sheets. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with huge variety of options! All the staff were attentive, friendly and very helpful they mad us feel at home. I highly recommend lido corfu sun and I will definitely be back next year!!

Very nice hotel located in the North side of Corfu island. Clean room friendly staff and very good food. The lady at housekeeping very polite and the reception very helpful ! We will visit again soon

This is the last day of our holiday here. We will be sad to go home. We’ve had a lovely relaxing week. The hotel is small clean and tidy. Staff all friendly and helpful. We had room 307 on the third floor, excellent with a sea view. Watched the sunrise at 6.25 am beautiful! There are lots of steps and some uneven ground but a great lift from the foyer which we used. There is a balcony area to eat outside or air conditioned restaurant. The food is good I would say something for everyone. Meats/fish traditional dishes spaghetti Bol chips a big variety of salads. Desserts are the usual for Greece , layered cake angel delight jelly or fruit , lunch /dinner. Breakfast is plentiful fully cooked English, egg’s cooked all ways. Toast. Cereals. Cold meats. Fruit and pastries. Repetitive at times but that’s like all inclusive deals everywhere! All inclusive drinks beer wine some very watered down spirits. Greek night on a Sunday which is fun. Thursday bbq night with music. There are comfortable sunbeds surrounding pool. Shaded on the whole which was a relief as it was 35 degrees and we didn’t want to burn. Pool is lovely, kept so clean. Perfect depth up to shoulders at deep end with shallow part then stepped area within pool. Snacks in bar about 4.30pm each day. Hotel is on a very busy road which we were fully aware of before booking and it really isn’t safe to walk along as there aren’t pavements. So we used with caution. The hotel runs a free bus to and from Benitses main centre twice daily where there are lots of tavernas bars and shops. Very nice. Also highly recommend the Mexican as we had an incredible meal there. The bus stop for ordinary buses is two mins walk on the right as you leave the hotel. Buses go every 45 mins to Corfu Town which is definitely worth a visit or two. Lots of interesting places and quaint shops down alleys. Buses are cheap about €2.30 ticket to the town. The hotels beach is about ten minutes down the road to the left. Good for sun worshippers as is is in full sun. A basic bar with soft drinks. The beach isn’t much of a beach more like a pontoon with sunbeds. There are stairs into the sea and small pebbly beach so definitely need wet shoes. Lots of these locally. Don’t buy from the shop closest to hotel as they were double the price of our bought from Benitses. If I was going to moan about anything it would be the smell of tobacco smoke constantly in the reception area. It’s just that we are lucky not to have this anymore in the uk. Definitely recommend this little gem in Corfu and would definitely return!! Thanks to all staff for their hospitality.

We have just come back from staying here, family of four with kids aged 13 and 15. Very small hotel with small pool, at first it felt too small but in fact it was a nice change. Food average, a lot of recycling going on and not a huge choice, but nice enough. Got picky kids though, who ended up eating spag bol and/or chips for lunch and dinner most days. There is a really nice taverna a couple of doors down from the hotel though, definitely recommend! Private beach is about a 5 min walk, not really a beach, it's decking/a jetty. We hired a car for a couple of days and went to Kontokali beach one day (OK not massive but has a nice restaurant right behind it) and Gardenos beach one day, which was a large beach with loads of loungers, but still managed to feel fairly intimate - definitely recommend! There was a restaurant here too, but we didn't go apart from to get ice creams. Rooms were nice in the hotel though - we had two - clean and well maintained. AI alcohol consisted of beer and local spirits that were definitely watered down! Cocktails were about 9 euros, and very nice! Definitely not watered down. Loungers by the pool very comfy and it all felt very relaxed, no one rushed down to put towels down.... you'd still need to get down there for about 10/10.30 to get space though. Staff very nice. We got the shuttle bus into Benitses one day and walked back (doable but horrendous in 35 degree heat), it's OK but nothing amazing and the beach is not much better. It has a nice harbour though. Beware you have to pay a local tax of 3 euros pp pn when you check in and they want cash payment. Also beware of the mosquitos!

This was the most awful holiday of all . Firstly on the arrival about midnight there was no food or drinks for us . The receptionist didn't gave us even a bottle of water . Than on the next morning during the breakfast time we have had money stolen from my wallet. When I have reported it thay said this is impossible. Than we have contacted Tui for a hotel change but they did nothing to help us . The private beach has been advertised to be 30 meter from the hotel but it is more than 10 minutes walk . And the beach itself is a joke. The food is was awful. The WiFi connection was really bad as well . There is nothing to do in the hotel . It was the worst holiday we have at all . Do not go to this hotel it is a lie .

Absolutely perfect! A very nice and clean hotel at the south side of the island Very good food and the cocktails at the pool bar are fantastic!! Friendly staff, nice room with great view at the Ionian Sea. Looking forward to visiting again soon
