Albertine Valley Lodge

Excellent reception and staff and food was good and located at the age of the Queen Elizabeth national Park ample and spacious accommodation the beds are mega sizes environment around is very quiet no noise from vehicles birding is around the lodge is good.

Unique experience with very hospitable staff and an outdoor cooking session right next to our bungalow! We felt very welcome and taken care of. I hope to come back to this place few years down the road see how it develops. Has absolute great potential! Breathtaking view over the park! Lovely setting all together

We spent one night at Albertine Valley Lodge, Rubirizi district. Christopher the host welcomed and looked after us very well. The accommodation was comfortable and clean, with amazing outdoor seating over looking Queen Elizabeth national park. The food was really tasty and Chris helpfully organised a packed breakfast and lunch for our safari trip. During our stay we also did a nature walk and ‘coffee experience’. Led by Chris, we walked through coffee and tea fields, with a mid-hike view across QE National Park. He had good knowledge of the surrounding nature and pointed out elephant foot prints. The coffee experience was a highlight: under supervision from local women we roasted, ground, sieved and made fresh coffee that had been grown by them. It was great fun and the coffee was tasty! Along the way we saw lots of local produce- vanilla pods, coffee, tea, avocados, mangos, bananas etc. Chris was very open to feedback and is determined to make the lodge the best it can be. We would really recommend a stay here.

The place is beautiful with great ambience. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again. It is a beautiful place to get away, quiet, peaceful and surrounded by nature. The food was great too and so are the people at Albertine.

We visited Albertine Valley Lodge on 28th August 2022, with a group of friends, we were warmly welcomed by Chris and the staff at Albertine Valley Lodge with smiles and a glass of juice each. This made us feel welcome. I loved the hospitality of the staff, the beautiful scenery of Maramagambo forest and simplicity of the rooms. They also served us a 3 course meal which was very delicious. I loved Albertine Valley Lodge and I highly recommend it.

We had the opportunity to spend one night in Albertine Valley Lodge. This place is lovely, the view/landscape is wonderful, people are so nice and food is very good. We recommend people to go there and if you have time you can also spend a moment within the community to talk and share good moment with local people. Thanks again for your welcome !
