Where to start ,staff good to be fair, but room dirty, shower had black mold on sealant,and drain in shower stank of sewage , bed headboard was loose and bed creaked ,bedding at least was clean but old cigarette pack under the bed. No facilities on site so breakfast had to be at asda ,

The rooms are basic, and small, but fine for a night/overnight business trip. However the customer service was extremely poor. My house keys fell off the beside table in the night, and so I left them behind. Entirely my fault of course. But could have been resolved if they just called me when they found them. They didn't and I didn't realise till I got back to London. Upon enquiry about this staff were rude. They requested I send a stamped self-addressed envelope to get them back. I said could they just send them and bill me? Apparently this was beyond the pale as far as a suggestion went. A number of calls later and I had to relent to do just that - because they claimed that they would have to cross town to go to a post office and in their own time, and pay out of their own money - apparently this hotel doesn't have a petty cash box for emergencies. Turns out there's a post-office literally 2 doors down. I know I created the initial problem by leaving my keys and I'll own that. These things happen though and how a service provider responds is where service really counts and the staff here weren't willing to lift a finger to help or try to mitigate my initial error in the slightest. I will avoid this place for my future trips.

A disappointing experience for a solo female travelling for work. I booked a single room and discovered the windows had the latch removed so they swung open with no way to lock them. I complained and was eventually moved to the other single room… which had EXACTLY the same issue - the latch was missing!! So obviously it was a deliberate thing. The first window only opened about 12 inches but the second opened completely wide. I complained again and was told it’s ok because they can’t be opened from the outside and are on the second floor. Firstly, it CAN be opened from the outside because you just push the window at the top. Secondly, there was a ledge and roof below so it could be reached. Thirdly, and most importantly, it is NOT SAFE OR SECURE to have windows that swing open with no latch in a hotel room. You could fall against it so it’s dangerous. And if you were broken into, your insurance would be invalid. I was told that I could be moved to a double room but would have to pay the difference! I declined because I felt the attitude and customer service was completely poor. I did not feel safe or welcome in this hotel and the overall experience was stressful. I had to pay for another hotel for 2 nights and only had a partial refund. I also received no apology or explanation from the manager despite contacting the hotel to ask what they will be doing to improve safety for solo travellers. It’s a shame because I had stayed here twice before but will not be staying again. Care for the safety of visitors is the cornerstone of being a good hotel.

The rooms are immaculate, bathroom supburb the wonderful staff go out of their way to accomodate any request. The food is amongst the best we have tasted, & we travel quite a lot, the buses into town are conveniently located every few minutes. My wife & I are already booking our next trip & this hotel will.be where we will stay

A good stop for the night. A little aged & tired but clean & tidy. We had a big day driving so it was a bed for the evening. A family room booked as we are travelling with our 2 grown up kids & the rooms were appropriate, there was a small fridge (which I don’t think was working well) kettle etc. good for the price! Thank you😀

No way is this a 4* hotel. Have never had to pay to park my car in a hotel car park when staying there. Not very welcoming at reception, bathroom: badly in need of revamp - mould around shower cubicle - loose tiles - toilet not flushing properly. Room: very small, musky smell. Tried to book a table in restaurant for day of arrival to be abruptly told, you have to pre-book, “can’t you see how busy we are”. Bar shut at 10pm on a Friday evening. Would not recommend.

When I arrived I was greeted by a very welcoming receptionist, who was very efficient and helpful. My room was very clean, I liked the decor. The bed was very comfortable and the walls thick enough not to hear my neighbours. There wasn’t a hairdryer in the room as standard - I didn’t request one so I don’t know if that’s an option. Parking on-site was plentiful but charged at £7.00 (for the full 24hrs). I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Shocking. No breakfast facilities within "hotel" which was not mentioned at check in. The Italian Osteria restaurant was no better than average and hugely overpriced. Do yourself a favour and book elsewhere!!!

Budget option probably due to it being 2km away from the centre of Hull. Excellent noise protection from Outside, not so much internally as I was woken several times over the two nights by noisy neighbours. Single room was spacious, good size TV. However bed was basic, and old, and the shower ran hot and cold so not pleasant. Internet was excellent.
