The Osprey Hotel

I booked at very short notice and Des could not have been more helpful in accomodating me. I had a lovely well furnished room with a great facilities and even a place to leave a bike inside instead of on the back of my parked car. There was a lovely ambience, with other guests chatting. Sinead served up a wonderful breakfast fit for a King. I would highly recommend this Hotel. It is ideally situated just off the A9 arterial route in Northern Scotland.

Not so much a hotel, more a guest house/ BnB. Comfortable ,clean, well furnished rooms, with a friendly and helpful owner. Breakfast could be ordered and priced to your own specification, but no bar, or evening meals, although there was the option to bring in a takeaway,/ carry out and have in the dining area. Good accommodation, but the absence of a comfortable social area to relax was a bit of a drawback.

If you want excellent customer service, great food and a hotel that goes the extra mile to ensure your stay is throughly enjoyable, this is where to stay. I was there with my brother and his dog for four nights. Des and Sinead, the owners, were fantastic providing great breakfasts and dinners for us and so good with the dog. We will definitely stay again next year.

Great hosts, very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Helped us sort out some takeaway options for our dinner. Cute room and well appointed. Everything was clean. Breakfast room neat, tidy and everything you need. All wifi and TV worked well.

Excellent advise on where to eat and other options they could help with. Breakfast was lovely and the room for anyone looking to stay with you the bedrooms are beautifully decorated, fresh with beautiful bedding. Thank you for the lovely flowers. We will definitely return when heading back to this location.

If you look for a personal experience and dedicated hosts in addition to the beauty of the Cairngorms you are at the right place. The hosts of the Osprey Hotel will go above and beyond to fulfill your every need and wishes. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer - next time!

It was so good to be back at this hotel once again. Des and Sinead are truly wondeful hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. The bedroom is spotlessly clean and has all basic needs. Breakfast is excellent with a very good choice including full Scottish and any variation on that, porrige, scrambled eggs etc etc. At present the hotel is not serving evening meals but Des goes out of his way to help guests book tables at appropriate restaurants nearby. This place really is 'home from home' and we cant wait to return.

Amazing bed and breakfast located near Cairngorms Warm welcome and Des helped with our luggage Room was spotless and fresh with everything you need. We had a twin room overlooking road but still very quiet You have the choice to use the bar area to bring in food and drinks if you wish We pre ordered breakfast and it was delicious. I can recommend the scrambled eggs I would highly recommend staying here

This was one of the best hotel stays I’ve had. The owners could not have been more helpful, from the moment we stepped through the door nothing was too much trouble. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and welcoming. Our bedroom was lovely and the beds and bedding were brand new and of superior quality and just so very comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities in our room with fresh milk provided. We were shown an area where we could eat our own food if required and there was a fridge for us to use if needed. In the morning we chose a lighter breakfast there were plenty of cereals to choose from and juices and yoghurt, toast with a selection of jams and marmalade was plentiful and I have to make a special mention of the scrambled eggs that I chose to have, Sinaid cooked them perfectly even better than I would have made myself 😊 I really was impressed with this hotel and hope to visit it again someday if I get back to the highlands.
