This was our first trip to Turkey and our first vacation with our daughter, as we wanted her to be old enough to remember the experience. We are so happy we chose this hotel! From the moment we arrived, despite check-in being at 2 PM after night flight and transfer, we were able to enjoy the facilities immediately. We quickly changed into our swimsuits and headed to the wonderful pools, where we were warmly greeted by Amir. Afterward, we explored the food area and were so engaged that we hardly noticed when our room was ready. The staff is incredibly responsive, always kind, and smiling. It's amazing to see how well they manage everything with such a positive attitude! The room was cleaned every day, always spotless and tidy. The food was delicious, with a wide variety of options, ensuring that every meal was enjoyable. The hotel grounds are spacious, and the sea is just a short walk away. The water was warm and inviting! Our daughter especially loved the kids' club and formed a special connection with one of the staff members. In the evenings, we enjoyed both the adult and children's shows, and the carousels were a hit with our daughter. We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends. A big thank you to the entire staff for making our first trip to Turkey so memorable and special. It was truly an unforgettable experience. Guests from Latvia

This hotel pretend to be a 5 star hotel, but actually hotel looks like 3 not more!! I regret that i have chosen your hotel and will never recoment it to anybody. First of all not working AC when it's almost 38-40 outside. With 2 small children in comfort family rooms for additional price. We have changed 2 rooms but result was the same!! I had to sleep with open doors and windows!!!!! I called more then 6 times to reception and came to them more then 4 and problem was not solved in 48 hours! Worts service!! And also overal feeling that whole building will fall apart: cracks on whalls, floor level of whole building is headed to one side and so on... The second main problem is general condition of rooms: everything is damaged and beaten, floor is uneven and sqeaking. Terrible sound and smell from drain in the floor. Everything looks like its 20+ years old..... all photos will be added to the sites. Never never never will come herel!!!

I recently stayed at Selectum hotel family resort Side, and while everything about the hotel was perfect, the standout feature was undoubtedly the kids club and the amazing educators. The facilities were pristine, the dining options were diverse and delicious, and the rooms were comfortable and luxurious. However, what truly made our stay memorable was the kids club. The educators there were not only highly professional but also incredibly engaging and attentive. They created a safe and fun environment where our children could play, learn, and make new friends. Their dedication and enthusiasm ensured our kids had the time of their lives, which allowed us to relax and enjoy our vacation even more. I highly recommend Selectum hotel family resort Side for families looking for a perfect getaway.

We are at the hotel right now. We stay in a beautiful family room, with sea view. It's a bleesing to wake up every morning and see such a lovely place. But like every hotel, there are good and bad things. The good things are the amount of activities for families such as aquapark, luna park and snack area which gives you the possibility to avoid the crowd in the main restaurant which is full during lunch and dinner. The bad things are the towels for "reserved" sunbeds, the old lady in black from gozleme corner who said that 3 gozleme is too much. Maybe for 1 person is too much, but for my family of 4 person is a decent lunch. So, lady in black (the older one), please do your thing and leave the rest to us! A big NO for a la carte restaurant reservation desk. Is it possible that in our first day of vacation to say that Deep Sea restaurant is full? Then tell us please, when should we make the reservation, before we arrived here, from home or from airport, just to have a real chance to choose dinner at this fish restaurant? Another thing we dont like is the russian program of live music. Please, can we skip that? Isn't it a hotel for everyone? It's just for Russian? The beach is with pebble and big rocks. So pay attention! We enjoyed Dj Mert with the entire show, but for now this is the only part of the evening entertaining that we liked. And of course, we love room 6093!

The hotel is beautiful with the kindest staff I could ever wish for, whilst being away I felt like I was looked after like I was one of their own, they are the kindest people going. The food they serve is tremendous, every meal I would finish my plate with not a crum left. The room was gorgeous with the comfiest pillows I have ever had in my life. The bed sheets looked as if they were straight out of the wrapper. The air con was a life saviour blowing out the coldest air that cooled my body down after being out in the scorching warmth. I am very grateful for my stay and would like to thank everyone who experienced my journey. I would highly recommend and cannot fault the hotel and the people at all. My holiday was perfect.

Wery good food and personel with is Wery helpfull and they alweys help IF you ask. Food is exelent and its very fresh . Room is big and very nice Pools and beach are very big and nice wether is very good sun is Rising And you can only legt on beach and on The pool

Food: The menu is very repetitive, The Lunch and dinner offerings are very similar, unfortunately food is often mislabelled or not labelled at all, my daughter is vegetarian and she found it hard to eat a meal other than plain rice, chips and bread. Breakfast has a wide variety of eggs, the cereals were of poor quality, there was no chopped fruit, just whole apples, bananas etc. The a la carte Mexican restaurant was fantastic, I cannot fault it, absolutely delicious with top quality drinks. The ice cream bar was delicious. Drinks: very weak and often badly made. There was a bit of a language barrier with the bar staff so I would often request a drink and be served something different but I was too polite to send it back so I would often just drink it, I could not drink the Bloody Mary as it’s utterly vile wherever you order it. I was ordering a cocktail and an accompanying shot to actually taste it. Swimming pools and slides: absolutely top notch. The lifeguards were very attentive. They had a very strict no tomfoolery policy. The safety of guests is very important to all of the lifeguards and they all demonstrated this remarkably. Cleaniness and housekeeping: absolutely top notch, the rooms were cleaned to a very high standard and there are many recycling and litter bins across the resort. Housekeeping do come a little too early though, 8am is not a good time for families who are trying to get everything organised and get down to breakfast. An all inclusive resort whilst encouraging indulgence, in this case leaned more towards greed and this is not the fault of the hotel staff but the guests themselves. Many guests behaved as if they had never seen food before and were taking mountains of strawberries and watermelon, often wasting it. Towels on the loungers was an issue here too, counting the guests in the pool compared to the empty but betowelled loungers was often frustrating.

When we planned our family trip to Turkey, Selectum Family Resort & Spa appeared to be a good budget option, as we were particularly interested in their swim-up rooms in the lake house and the many water slide options for our eight-year-old son. However, upon arrival, we were placed in an aqua room, which is a building with a small pool in front of it, accommodating a maximum of 5-10 people. This was not what we had booked. When we raised this issue with the reception, they simply told us to "take it up with your agency." Feeling frustrated and disappointed, I inquired about the cost to upgrade to the swim-up lake house room we had initially reserved. They informed us that, due to our 17-day stay and the amount we had already paid, it would cost an additional 540 Euros ,so we did pay.Unfortunately, this was only the beginning of our dissatisfaction. The shower cabin in our room leaked severely, turning the bathroom into a small lake. The air conditioning was ineffective, functioning only as a fan. Despite a technician and a maintenance worker attempting to fix the issues, they remained unresolved. The cleanliness of the resort was appalling. The main restaurant was particularly dreadful, characterized by poor hygiene, noise, and unappealing food options. The entire facility was infested with large insects, including grasshoppers and cockroaches, some as large as children's shoes. Main pool area was overcrowded , not enough sunbeds,or a place to swim.Again,dirt is everywhere, the rest of food,icecreams, spilled drinks... Overall, our experience at this resort was extremely disappointing. I hope TripAdvisor will accept the photos I took to document these issues. I strongly advise against wasting your money on this place, as we eagerly await our flight home.

Please do not waste your hard earned money in this place! I don’t know where to start to be honest! The place is dirty! The food is cheap and nasty! The drinks are cheap We paid extra for the swim up room Broken lamps and furniture! Dirty cot bed My children both got food poisoning There was nowhere nearby to eat other the the hotel! So we were stuck! The guests are 90% Russian and the rudest people I have ever encountered! The staff were rude! Asked to book the restaurants that were added on, told fully booked for the duration of our stay They smoke in the building all the time Maid came into our room at random times to see our baby! Which was strange we had to bolt the door! Tbh there is loads more this is the tip of the iceberg! I could go on and on Please please don’t visit this place! It’s a 2 star at best! Holiday from hell !!!
