Hi I hate leaving a bad review so I will try to keep this positive. This is an oldish hotel. I thought it was a converted warehouse, but the folks at the desk said it was built as a hotel in 1951. I had a queen room, 204, on the second floor, to say it was small is an understatement. The queen bed pretty much filled up the room. It had sliding patio doors on to a tiny balcony that I didn't feel safe on, I'm sure it was safe but it was too tiny for me. The room faced the street and the train station. This did not bother me, I didn't think it was noisy at all, other people did. I had some maintenance issues in the room that were solved while I was at work. I can never understand how cleaning people can go in a room day after day and not see/notice/realize there is a maintenance issue and not report it. This seems to be an industry problem throughout the world. The folks at the desk were fantastic! So very nice. I didn't interact with the rest of the staff. General Norway observation. Everything is small, including the coffee cups and servings. I learned this last time and brought my own MUG and Folgers singles. There is an electric hot water pot in the room. Breakfast-standard hotel breakfast, nothing special especially after staying at another hotel in Kongsberg down the street that I will not name. Check in and check out was smooth. Thanks for a pleasant stay.
