Smy Kos Beach & Splash

My teenage daughter and I came here for a week at the start of May. We absolutely loved the hotel. We stayed in one of the bungalows, which was spotless and had the most amazing shower! Cleaning staff were really friendly too. The two pools and fact it is on the beach, mean there's enough variety to keep everyone entertained. There's a water sports place very close by, although we didn't try it. And Tam Tam bar is just along the beach, has a lovely shop attached and little swing park. We also did the Hamam spa which was wonderful. The best thing about this hotel is the friendly staff - Koni at guest services is incredibly helpful. Everyone made us feel relaxed and seemed happy at their work. This makes such a difference and a welcoming atmosphere. The entertainment for us was good - I loved the aqua gym every morning with the ever energetic Marvin. The food was delicious and I felt varied enough for us. Only thing I'd add would be a swing park for younger kids. Planning to return!! Thank you for a fabulous holiday.

A lovely peaceful holiday. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. A good variety of buffet choices. Elani at the poolside bar was fantastic everyday. We had the bungalow which was close to the restaurant and the beach. We would happily go back. Shout out to George and koni in reception…… amazing service, thank you so much ☺️

We had a wonderful time staying at the Smy Kos. We booked via Jet2 and got a super cheap deal with a free kids place. The rooms are spacious, modern and very clean. The pool next to the sea is beautiful and perfect for a relaxing holiday. We took our four year old daughter and the kids entertainment is brilliant. There's a small kids club which safe and the staff are friendly. There's one entertainer, Marvin who is absolutely fantastic and really fun when he runs the kids disco. All the staff are super friendly and attentive. The Australian lady who works near reception is lovely and gave us some great pointers for day trips. If you can, it's worth renting a car as there's not much to do outside of the hotel and taxis are 29euros each way to get into Kos town. I believe there is a bus that runs there through the week but not weekends. Also the manager on reception was really lovely and allowed us to keep a room longer so my daughter could have a sleep before our late flight. Keep up the good work as all the staff are really good and you can see they work hard. I've given it a four star based on the food. It's a bit same same and I would have liked to see a bit more variety. What would make this hotel perfect would be to have an a la carte Greek restaurant on site that you can book into once or twice during your stay so you aren't always eating in the buffet. We tended to eat lunch at the pool bar down by the beach most days as you can sit on a nice beach bench overlooking the sea. Thank you for a lovely holiday. We wish we'd have booked a week!

The animation team were brilliant as well as the hotel staff. Both made us feel welcome and wasn’t bothered when our 2 year old was hanging around them especially with the evening entertainment (being Mr DJ!!). Wish we could give more than 5 stars. Thank you all!

Just got back from a 5 day stay with my daughter and 4 year old granddaughter. Had a fantastic holiday. Lovely staff and brilliant entertainment. The hotel room and beach bar was great. Good restaurant and food. Would definitely stay there again.

All of the staff are really attentive and friendly. The hotel is nice and clean! Lots of food to choose from. We spent most of our time down at the bottom pool, which is absolutely beautiful, wondering if this should be an adults only area as the main pool is more equipped for kids? Would recommend to everyone. Special shoutout to Marvin and the entertainment team. Marvin’s energy is infectious, and he is fabulous, and all of the team follow this lead. Thank you for a lovely holiday. Ps we recommend a trip to the Hamam spa, the day trip to Kos, and also the night to Zia!

Had a really good holiday with family. The complex caters well for children and older clientele alike. The food was really good and there is a separate bar area by the beach which serves food and drink which was ideal. The room was good and clean accommodating 4 of us and situated nearer the beach than the main complex. The staff were really friendly also with a special mention to Koni who went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

An amazing holiday, George, Konie and her team are very helpful and friendly. Nothing was any trouble, we were moved nearer due to a friend with an injury. All staff spoke English and were friendly and attentive, the entertainment team did their best to make our short break fun. Very clean in our room, fresh towels and the food was amazing. Highly recommend this hotel, you will not be disappointed. The photos on the website did not do the place justice.
