Stenna Apartments

We have stayed here a few times and love the accommodation which is kept very clean by two sisters who are very helpful, friendly and work extremely hard to keep everything in good working order. As I need extra pillows for support when sleeping and we weren't arriving until the evening I text the owner and there were lovely extra pillows on the three beds. Thank you, this was greatly appreciated. We stayed in Room 7 on the first floor and it was everything we were looking for with the most fantastic view of the sea. The apar**ents are simple in style, very spacious and have private balconies or terrace. The accommodation is very close to the supermarket, tavernas, bars and beach. There is a short cut to the side of the accommodation which means you do not have to use the road. If arriving late there is a whiteboard with your name and room number and the keys are in the door of the accommodation. Downstairs there is a cool communal seating area under the pergola of grapevines. We love it here and have rebooked. Thank you for making our holiday a memorable one.

Firstly,apar**ents are very basic but acceptably clean,the odd few ants,spiders or earwigs popping up! We had a 1 electric ring burner for any cooking we wished to do,not even a microwave oven,yet a huge fridge/freezer to store stuff! Few pots n pans,electric kettle,toaster costs 7 euros per week to hire,small safe in wardrobe costs 10! Housekeeping is minimal,we arrived on a sunday lunchtime for 1 week,towels and bedding changed on Wednesday with rooms being mopped out also....Woh betide you if you ask for a second toilet roll on the Tuesday like I did,was given one eventually but the lady in charge was quick to inform me ONE only after our original issued roll,had to pop supermarket for more! Advertising blurb says 50 mtr from beach,technically right,but it's a helluva walk, approx 500 mtr to get there due to the paths in either direction! Very quiet location on edge of town,would not recommend for those who have any walking issues as its very uneven and stoney,even on the paths. No issue with plumbing or bathroom except floor becomes awash,no matter how careful you are because of ridiculously small shower trays and no showerhead attachment on the wall. To sum it all up,you get what you pay for,and that ain't much in this case, although can't fault resort itself..... but it's quiet!

Our 2nd time staying at these lovely apar**ents. Set in a very quiet location but only a few mins stroll to the sea front. They are also conveniently located to access the back road up to the old village. Yes they are basic but we knew that when we booked and are only a 2 star. That being said, they are very spacious and very clean. The 2 sisters that run them are very friendly and when we had an issue with the air con at 9pm at night, because they live on site, they were able to immediately rectify the problem. As a previous reviewer has said, the bathroom is very old, however it is very clean and functional - what more do you need? Yes, you do have to hold the shower head, however this is not a problem. We were lucky and stayed on the 1st floor this visit so had a wonderful sea view. In addition to every apar**ent having a private balcony, there’s also a communal area in the grounds with large picnic style tables and benches under a huge grape vine that runs the whole length of the apar**ent. This place provides welcome comfort and shade if you want to eat breakfast or lunch alfresco. We would definitely return to these lovely apar**ents.

We booked these apar**ents for a bargain price with EasyJet holidays. We researched the property and knew they would be typical basic Greek apar**ents. We had two apar**ents booked and were really happy with the ones we were allocated. They were both ground floor, which still gave us a lovely garden view and sea glimpses. The real bonus was the terraced area by the doors with additional tables, which were great in the morning for breakfast. Ground floor properties still have a private balcony area too, which was great for reading in during the afternoon and evening. Despite arriving very late at night, the owner came and greeted us. We were not forced to buy air con and managed with the cheaper fan option instead. She was very friendly and approachable. The apar**ents were the most spacious we have had. We’ve been used to apar**ents with all three beds and kitchenette in one room, so we really enjoyed that you could separate the kitchen and one bed from the other room. The kitchen area was basic but more than adequate for making breakfast and salads for lunch. We really appreciated the large fridge and freezer, meaning we could buy a good supply of ice cream and lollies for the kids. The location of the apar**ents is private and quiet but you are only 5 minutes walk from a supermarket, tavernas and the beach. If you like cats, there are many that come and visit for a fuss too. We hope to return and would thoroughly recommend.

Another lovely stay at the stenna. They are clean quiet and in a great location. If you need anything the owner is always available and always friendly and helpful. It a perfect fir what you need for a relaxing break in the great resort of Kefalos. Thankyou.

We have just returned from an absolutely perfect stay at the stenna apar**ents. From arrival (we were delayed so arrived late) our name and appt number were on a board and we found our room easily. We were pleasantly surprised with how big the apar**ents were. The balcony was great and had a space for drying beach stuff and a table and chairs. They apar**ents are basic but very comfortable with fresh towels every other day. The bathroom was basic but again…clean and perfect for what we needed. The kitchen had everything we needed but if we were going to cook huge meals we may of struggled. The fridge was brand new and HUGE! The beds were super comfortable…. infact I would say the comfiest bed I’ve ever had whilst in Greece!!!! The air conditioning was €8 a day and definitely a good inves**ent!!!! The location of the apar**ents was perfect for the beach, restaurants and local bars no more than a 5 minute easy walk for either. The two ladies who run the place were super friendly and helped us out with an iron and a hairdryer. Please don’t take notice of the people who have left bad reviews. This is a lovely place to stay and a bargain for the cost! Thank you so much!!! We can’t wait to return next year!!

Would not stay at these apar**ents again

We had a great stay at Stenna apar**ents last week. Would highly recommend them. Spotlessly clean, spacious apar**ent. Nothing was too much trouble to the sisters who live on sight. Will defnatley be booking again. Kefalos is just fabulous for a chilled out holiday. Thank you Stenna.

We are here now, late August, weather is perfect, Kefalos has its charm as always,, The Sisters ar Stenna are so Kind, I love saying Kalimera to them. The apar**ents are a really good size,,and clean, it’s nice to have a separate wardrobe area, the wardrobe is huge. Our room has been cleaned lots of times, we stayed in whilst the cleaner done her cleaning one time she was so lovely talking about Kefalos and life,,xx We are in Greece and love the traditional style rooms,, the balconies are worth a million dollars and what beautiful sunrises seen every morning. We would stay again as it’s central for the Harbour End but can also walk ruins area, we found fabulous restaurants very close by xx we would definitely return xx Once you feel the chilled Kefalos vibe, it brings you back again and again…Thankyou all for a wonderful stay….go and explore the charm, it’s soo chilled xx can’t wait to be back xx
