Return visit - following a trip had last year to same accommodation. 1st experience last year was - ok it’s basic , but it was friendly and central location . We had a good deal and decided to return this year ( 3 female friends for long weekend ) First impression - is oh no it’s a bar , you walk through to the back and there is a hatch for reception and stairs to the accommodation / rooms . It’s ok to get your head down when on a holiday with friends , not suitable to take the family . Overall it’s run down and old . The cleanliness of the rooms isn’t 100%, as balcony’s had hair balls gathering . Air con is extra . 10euro a day . Per unit / you can choose to add this on or not . This is powered by the typical card slot used for electricity in many hotels / apts . Apparently adding your own cards to the slots - ‘crashes the systems ‘ this doesn’t happen , and there are no posters anywhere to request you don’t add your own cards to the slots . We paid for the air con , added our own card to the power slot whilst out etc - as the air con is poor and takes ages to actually cool the room . I think the hotel have power meters they watch - and when you leave they enter rooms . they entered our room when out, and removed our own bank cards from the slot with no explanations, no apologies , and removed them from our room , they denied doing this , reported it was maids - even though reception has a poster reporting no maid service on Sundays . The owner / manager became hostile , rude , intimidating, and not helpful whatsoever . 3 females travelling , we felt like we wanted to leave , he did not understand that the bank card was our source / access to money tht evening . We should have called the police in reflection . The manager / owner said he would contact maids to ask them where our cards are …. Whilst waiting we walked through the bar to go out for an hour as we felt unsafe and unsettled at the accommodation , it was clear the remainder of staff had been made aware of the incident as the usual friendly staff were rude again , and dismissive towards us . The manager / owner ignored us , and clearly ordered the other manager to tel us they had found our bank cards . There was no explanation as to why they had been removed from our room , no apologies regarding the incident . Two guests stood by the bar when manager / owner was shouting at us, looked at us concerned and could see we were upset and intimidated. Another observation - On return to the apar**ents the day before this incident the manager (same as above with long hair ) made reference sexy ladies etc as we walked passed - again this made us feel uneasy and unsettled ( didn’t have these experiences the year before ) Appalling experience. Easy jet holidays have been made aware of the incident . Won’t be returning due to this . Manager / owner clearly needs to practice customer service skills , and have more respect towards guests .
