Utopia Blu Hotel

We had an amazing stay here. Check in was quick and we couldn’t believe our luck when we got upgraded to a junior suite with a hot tub on the balcony! Wow! The maid came every day and was so friendly. A special mention to the amazing bar staff, who went above and beyond to make our stay so memorable; Haris, Alexandros, Erind and Konstantinos. The food was really nice and the snack bar at the children’s pool has the best toasties and crepes made by Katerina. We did go into Tigaki a couple of nights for food, there are some really nice restaurants and only a few minutes walk away. The pools are really clean but the only fault is that if you aren’t sunbathing by the pool in your block of rooms, then there are no toilets anywhere apart from in the middle of the resort at the snack bar. So you literally have to keep popping back to your room, this was a pain on our last day as we had to check out at 11am, so had to keep going to the main reception to use the toilet. A water dispenser would have been useful in the main reception, as the bar doesn’t open until 5pm, we were really thirsty waiting for our transfer, so I had to walk to one of the pool bars to fetch drinks. All on all an amazing stay and we will definitely be back.

Utopia Blu is a beautiful hotel set in lovely gardens with a back drop of the mountains. The hotel is pristine in all areas and the rooms are modern and comfortable. We had a swim up room near to reception which caught the sun in the afternoon, the plush sun loungers and chairs on the private terrace made it special . Definitely book a swim up room you won’t regret it. There is an adult only area with the same facilities but as we travelled with our family and baby grandson , our area was perfect . The family rooms are very spacious and baby cots and high chairs are provided . The hotel offers a shuttle service through out the day to and from a private area on the beach reserved for the hotel. The beach is worth a visit and there are many little shops and restaurants along the 15 minute walk. The supermarket opposite the hotel is exceptional , is reasonably priced and sells absolutely everything . The staff at the hotel are so friendly and helpful . Our special thanks to all the restaurant and bar staff who worked tirelessly each day to meet our every need - Christos especially, went above and beyond for us . We had a wonderful stay , our only disappoin**ent was the evening food. Breakfast was excellent , lunch buffet had lots of choice and was ok. We were only able to book one of the fine dining restaurants because of the limited availability so we only experienced the Mediterranean restaurant , which was lovely . We totally understand the kitchens in the main buffet restaurant are catering for lots of people and are trying to offer a variety of dishes for a diversity of tastes . That was the problem - the chefs were putting quantity of choice over quality of the food being cooked - grilled meat and fish were over cooked , food was often cold. Two of our family are vegetarians and they were limited to pasta mainly as many of the vegetable dishes also had meat in them . If the kitchen sorts this out , the hotel could have a 5 star rating . I’ve read other reviews and other people are saying the same . In spite of our one negative feedback on the food , we would definitely recommend Utopia Blu , we had a wonderful family holiday .

Me and my fiancé stayed here for 2 unforgettable weeks for my 21st birthday. All the staff made us feel at home and were very accommodating🫶🏼the food was very fresh and was many options for you to choose from, you are allowed to eat at a Mediterranean restaurant and the Italian on site once depending on your length of stay we could do two of each it was lovely. Hotel rooms cleaned everyday and hotel was sparkling✨ entertainment for both children and adults the Michael Jackson show was incredible. If you choose to stay here I’d recommend getting a spa trea**ent too so relaxing and reasonable pricing. Special thanks to Mr Pavis and Mr Nio thank you very much ❤️ would recommend this hotel to family’s and couples will definitely be returning next summer ✈️🌴

Wonderful service And a beautiful meal very very attentive staff particularly Alina Please visit if you come to Kos My husband had the risotto and I had a seafood lasagna and it was so nice. Oh yes, and Kir Royals Going to stuff my face with tiramisu now ♥️♥️♥️🇬🇷

My lady and I had a wonderful time. The resort is located on the outskirts of Tigaki and set up very spaciously. Grass fields and palm trees separate the various parts of the resort with several adult only areas. The friendly and organized welcome set the tone for out stay. Both front facing and non front facing staff go out of their way to be friendly and accommodating. Our standard room offered plenty of comfort and the actual queen sized bed that was promised; a feature that too many hotels and resorts fail to deliver on. The all inclusive feature of the resort was filled in very nicely with drinks and snacks avaliable at the various restaurants and pool side bars throughout the day. Out favorite meals were breakfast and lunch. The former being hosted graciously by maitre Paris and his very hospitable staff. The various pools, including private and semi- private, laid out throughout the resort , had different target audiences, giving both families and couples the a**osphere desired. All in all the stay was amazing and exceeded expectations! Thanks to all who made it possible, Koen and Wendy

Great new hotel with a warm contemporary design, spacious family rooms, very clean, good beds. Very good food and overall service. There are many options for activities, pool with music, another pool for kids, adults only pools, and 6 restaurants. Very nice tennis court. The spa is beautiful and the service is great. I had a facial and pedicure with Dimitria, good products (I am very allergic) super professional and kind. The only suggestion is to provide non-smoking areas in the pools. People are not supposed to smoke at the pool but they do. The private beach does not match the hotel standards, so it requires more attention to que quality of beds and facilities.

Hi. We found one of the entertainment nights absolutely brilliant with one of the tribute acts! It really made the holiday. I’m trying to find legends of the decade online but can’t find them anywhere.. have they got a page or anything to show the family. Thanks

Our vacation at Utopia Blu was very successful and we want to share some observations. The hotel is basically new, as of 2019, very clean, well-maintained, with staff who are smiling and friendly, you can feel the good a**osphere in the team. In particular, we would like to thank the entertainment team, who gave their best. It was nice to see their commi**ent, punctuality and professional preparation for each activity. Our 4-year-old daughter liked Kelly very much and loved the activities she conducted. She was very sad when she had to say goodbye to her on the last day. Our children also loved the mini disco at 8:30 pm and asked about the activities every day. For special appreciation deserve evening performances for adults. Never before on vacation have we seen such a vocally and dance talented group. The voices of Jen, Kelly and Jerry, the professional preparation of the repertoire, costumes as well as the DJ setting by Davide made us feel like we were at a star concert. In the end, we feel honored and fortunate to have been able to admire Jerry's extraordinary stage talent, exceptional vocals and unique personality up close. Words cannot convey the emotions we felt when he sang. He sang from the bottom of his heart, with a passion that sent shivers down our spine. I do not know if the other guests were aware of what an exceptional character they had the opportunity to watch. These performances will always remain in our memories and our hearts. Thank you!

Wow....first experience of AI hotel and Utopia Blu was perfect! Firstly the hotel looks just like the pictures on the website; beautiful and clean, the staff work tirelessly to keep it that way and are so polite and friendly. We had a family room located near the kids pool. The beds were very comfortable and the room was spotless. Big thank you to the lovely older lady who cleaned our room every day - it was my 40th during our stay and upon seeing the cards she went and cut me some roses and put a birthday cake in the fridge. We split our time between the main pool and kids pool, neither was overcrowded at any time, I think because there are a number of smaller pools around the hotel as well. All areas were kept clean, there are bins and recycling points dotted around. Breakfast and dinner always had a varied selection to suit all tastes, plenty for vegetarians and children. Lunch always had pizza/pasta options with salads and fruit as well as other dishes that changed daily. Dinner at the italian restaurant was very good. Also recommend the crepes and toasties at the snack hut by the kids pool! The main bar got very busy at times, particularly in the evenings but we were always served quickly and with a smile. The entertainment was good fun, during the day by the main pool with water games and music quizes, and in the evening with music acts. I recommend getting the shuttle bus down to the hotels private section of beach, it goes at 10, 12, 1 and 5 otherwise it's a bit of a trek in the heat with kids!
