The Luma Hotel, a Member of Design Hotels

The LUMA hotel is located near the airport, shopping malls and beautiful beaches. The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly, and the room is very big and clean.

Very instagramable boutique hotel. For a family of 4 the room with 2 queen size beds was the best option for us. The room is thoughtfully designed whereby the bathroom is separated into 3 areas. Would definitely stay here again if I were to visit KK again

It’s one of the best hotels I have stayed. I stayed in Eden suite and the room was spacious. The staff were courteous and very helpful. Take note if you are driving there as the hotel does not provide free parking. You can either park in front of the hotel car park lot (limited bay) at RM30 per night or park at your own risk at the basement car park at RM15 per night.

Great location near to kk town centre. Opposite is imago shopping centre. Great hotel room with powerful shower and comfortable bed. Overall a great hotel to stay at kk.

Clean and environment well~

The hotel is nice and clean, but the RM30 parking fee per day is a deal breaker. Walking distance to Imago Shopping Mall is a plus. There are restaurants behind and beside the hotel so you can easily find food.

We stayed at Luma on our last night at KK, it is easily accessible via main road into Sutera Avenue. The hotel was located within a complex sharing with offices and complex of cafes and eateries hence its convenience for quick meals. Luma was a designer hotel and it looks trendy & modern with a group of friendly front desk to assist the guest. Parking was provided but with daily fees of RM30 (front) or RM15 (basement) per day. Room cleanliness was excellent, but since it's within the complex the entrance to room was via card tag door. Everything was great and with the price its worth for a stay. Another plus point, across the hotel was Imago mall and accessible via pedestrian crossing bridge.

Location : Easy & quick to catch a GRAB (taxi) from the airport to LUMA Hotel, about 10 minutes drive & costs about RM11. It's about a 5 minute walk to IMAGO Shopping Mall via pedestrian bridge. Right next to the hotel you'll find a few restaurants, a bubble tea shop "Changee", and a nice cafe called "Brown Fox". Hotel : is not in a standalone building but rather located inside a row of shop lots. The concierge & rooms look exactly like in the advertised photos. Everything is new. An amazing scent invites you as soon as you step into the lobby, the lobby always smells so good! There's a small cafe area at the lobby, a restaurant above the stairs, & a gym on the upper floor. Hotel room : The rooms itself is beautiful & clean. I love the color scheme. Blackout curtains and cold air-conditioning gave me the best sleep. The bath room was a dream, hot water, good shower pressure. There's a Nepresso machine in the room for you to have your coffee. Tons of space for you to lay out your luggage bags. This place for perfect for us (young travelers who spent most of the day out). But if you're a family looking to spend time at the beach, Sutera Harbor might be more convenient for you. There also isn't a balcony or much of a view from the hotel room. But we didn't mind it. Overall, we loved our stay and highly recommend LUMA Hotel. The only thing I felt odd was the layout of the elevator area, right next to the stairs. It was a little dark and seems like anyone can just walk up to the hotel room floors.
